I absolutely loved shooting and editing these photos for my lovely friend. Capturing not only their beautiful family but the bump too. I’m always so thankful when friends trust me with their family memories; it makes the images feel that much more meaningful.

And no, it’s not always as serene as it looks, family sessions are full of movement and laughter, (and some chaos!) however, I’m a mum first, so I completely understand!

✨ A little behind the scenes ✨

I thought you’d like a peek at what happens behind the camera - the studio is spacious and also has a sofa and toys. It’s a space I hope is easy to settle into and enjoy the experience of making some family memories….

(Reality: I also fully expect little ones to run around, make a mess, eat some snacks and show me that fabulous “cheese” fake smile! 😆 but somewhere in there, I’ll capture the real one!) ❤️

❓Why don’t I offer short, “mini” sessions of 20 or 30 minutes?

I have been asked about lower cost, shorter sessions, and I have offered these in the past, but they’re not for me. Here’s why..

As a mum, I realise how important it is for children to feel at ease, especially in unfamiliar settings like a photography studio. That’s why my sessions are never rushed, giving children time and space to settle in and capture those real smiles.

So don’t worry about your little ones running around, not cooperating, or needing to stop for snacks, I completely understand!

🎄 Feeling excited - it’s that time of year again when Christmas starts in July!🎄

I’ll soon be transforming the studio into a festive wonderland, to capture some preview images of my brand new Christmas set for 2025. Can’t wait to share them!

2025 - where is time disappearing to?!
A quick update from me…

I have taken a little social media quiet time for the start of this year, although have still been in the studio with families, newborns, children, and branding shoots.

Recently I have moved rooms and the studio is taking a new shape! Still with lots of room (actually, more room) for multiple sets, and space for little ones to play and settle in.

Finally, anyone who knows me will know that I am a lover of film photography. Watch this space for an exciting event that I am a part of very soon!
