KMR 2026 RH Scholes Coppice Part 1

Hello Everyone, have a good winter break?

Yes, I’m back hiding in bushes taking photos of you all! Well, the eagle-eyed amongst you might have spotted me spectating in the woods at the first KMR with Lola.

Great to see you all, faces old and new, at the Harriers Scholes Coppice on Wednesday evening.

A lovely summer’s evening for two laps of the woods and fields. Well done to Becky and her squad of High Vis heroes, Great event !

Hello Everybody!!

So as promised my little review of the year in photos.

Firstly well done to everyone who took part this year, always remember it’s not the winning it’s the taking part!

For me a memorable year shooting 11 out of the 12 races in the KMR series. Gutted I didn’t get the full set there’s always something to work towards for next year. I was also asked to shoot the Rotherham 10k massively out of my comfort zone but something I enjoyed and am proud I did.

Favorite race of the series Canal race just edges it those autumn colours were stunning.

So here you have it the class of 2025! Well done everyone!

Hello Everybody!!
So, Boxing Day was the final race in the 2025 KMR race series, Maltby Running Clubs Turkey Trot.

It was a great turn out, seeing faces old and some new ones, Even Mary and Joseph were able to get a Babbie sitter and ran.

This was the final opportunity to bag a race to win your age category. Post race drinks and mince pies were enjoyed while results were compiled for both the race and the series. Soon after the awards were handed out to all the winners. Well done to you all and I hope you make full use of that tankard in the remainder of the festive period. Keep an eye out for a post later this week with a bit of an end of year review….

Santa Special Part 3

Hello Everybody!!

So Sunday we had Santa’s, elves, reindeers and even a grinch that can only mean one thing….. Kimmy striders Kimberworth Striders Running Club - Public Page hosted Santa’s Special.

Second to last race in the series and we were treated to a nice dry morning. Great to see everyone all trimmed up when there were still points at stake. Well done to those who have taken the spoils already and good luck to everyone still in with a chance.
