Hello Everyone!

So Sundays are back!
And we were in Wickersley bright and early for the ninth race in the series, the ‘Arriers hosted Wickersley Chase!

Well done to Becky and her team for a fantastic race and post-race buffet. We even had a local legend to support with the awards presentation.

And that’s us done for our part of the series; we can now hang up our caution runner signs and line spray for another year, and Becky can enjoy the rest of the series from a running point of view. Well done on another year of four fantastic events.

Hello Everyone!

So the final race in the mental triangle of races in three weeks and the eighth race in the 2026 series. Kimberworth Striders Running Club - Public Page hosted Stan’s Toffee run !

Well, this one got me wondering: would it be dark ? Would I have 250 toffee-hungry runners heading towards me in head torches? Would the field be full of people?

What did we get? An absolute belter of a race, perfect light, a little warm, great buffet, great company and hopefully great photos 😉

Hello Everyone!

So Wednesday saw us in Braithwell for your seventh race in the series and second race in the three-week mental triangle. Maltby Running Club hosted Dog Leg.

And we witnessed something we haven’t seen in a long, long time! RAIN 🌧️

Thankfully, only a light shower and it didn’t spoil the night, and the light actually made it perfect 👌🏻 as I was able to capture you all in the late evening sunshine.

We now move on to next week and the Big one, Stan’s Toffee run! So big, the striders have pulled out the stops and requested a partial solar eclipse.

Seriously, I’m not sure how this one is going to play out with the light , but I will give it my best shot.
