The Face Behind The Camera - A New Decade:
Ten years ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I left teaching and took the leap into becoming a full-time photographer. With a secure profession and two young children, it must have seemed like a crazy decision to many, but looking back, I honestly can't believe where those ten years have taken me or the balls I had to do it.😂
I've had the absolute pleasure of documenting over 300 weddings at incredible venues across the UK and abroad, as well as the photoshoots for so many wonderful families. Every story is different, I'm incredibly grateful to every couple and family who has trusted me to capture such important moments. I hope I've given you photographs that bring back the feelings, the laughter, love and memories for years to come.
One of the most special parts has been photographing the weddings and families of former pupils. Many of you I first met when you were just 11, so seeing you all grown up, getting married and starting families of your own is incredibly special. Being asked to document those moments for you means more to me than you probably realise. Thank you. 😊
A huge thank you also to Baby Sensory Rotherham & Toddler Sense Rotherham, who I've worked with for ten years, photographing literally thousands of beautiful babies and toddlers. It's been a privilege documenting those milestones of your babies for you mums & dads.
I'm a little greyer than I was ten years ago, and the knees certainly ache more now after a long day running around, but thankfully the passion is still there! I still get the same buzz from creating beautiful photographs and telling your stories that I did ten years back.
And finally, thank you to my wife Lisa, for trusting me when I said I wanted to leave teaching and take a leap into the uncertainty of becoming a photographer. I'm incredibly grateful you believed in me and the continued support. Here's to the next ten years.x 📸❤️
