John & Andrew // Wentbridge House Hotel // Cake Smash & Fireworks
From the very start, this wedding felt like something special—full of heart, personality, and a few unforgettable surprises along the way. The morning began in the calmest, most intimate way. The Grooms chose to get ready together, sharing those quiet moments side by side. There was a real sense of peace in the room—no rush, no nerves taking over—just a steady excitement building for everything still to come.
Their ceremony carried that same effortless elegance. It was beautifully understated, allowing the emotion of the moment to take centre stage without any unnecessary fuss. Afterwards, we kept their portraits relaxed and natural, capturing them just as they are—completely at ease with one another.
And then, the energy shifted. What started as a refined celebration quickly turned into something wonderfully unexpected. In full view of their guests, the cake was 'accidentally' dropped by an undercover waiter setting the tone for an evening that nobody will forget anytime soon. From that moment the room came alive, guests erupted into singing, dancing on chairs and a conga line that's probably still meandering around the hotel as I write this. 😂
It was a day that perfectly reflected both sides of this incredible couple—calm and considered, joyful and unrestrained—and an absolute joy to capture from beginning to end.
