Aww I had this review of a proposal I photographed at the National Trust part of the Cliffs of Dover on the Kent coast that I just had to share.
“Tom Keenan captured our engagement photos on the Cliffs of Dover, and we couldn’t have asked for a more special experience. He went above and beyond - coordinating with my partner to have a picnic basket, a card, and thoughtful touches waiting for me, which made the moment even more meaningful.
The photos themselves are absolutely incredible. He captured the most epic shots with the stunning cliffside views, and even guided us to a beautiful field of flowers we happened to stumble upon. Beyond his talent, Tom made us feel completely at ease during such an important and emotional moment.
These are photos we will truly treasure forever. We’re so grateful for his care, creativity, and ability to capture it all so perfectly.”
The process of getting the shots was extensive:
✨ Emails back and forth
✨ 2 zoom calls to clarify plan
✨ arranging a Waitrose order to my to create a luxury hamper for the couple after they got engaged
✨ scouting the location
✨ covertly waiting in an estimated area the proposal would happen
✨ getting the epic photos!
What a special couple. It’s not as simple as turning up and pressing a few buttons 😂
