Finally getting around to sharing these from our June trip to the beautiful Kent lavender fields Lower Austin Lodge Farm

Why is photographing your own family SO much more stressful than photographing another family?!😅
As a family photographer, I pride myself on my ability to relate to children & I know just how to get them moving, playing, laughing and interacting naturally.
But my own boys?
Why don’t they listen?! 😅

But I think it was worth the chaos in the end. They explored, laughed, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and, for the most part, actually seemed to enjoy each other’s company. And I got to capture some lovely memories of them just being them.

That's the thing about family photography, it doesn’t have to be perfect, It just has to be real.

Still riding the post-wedding high after this one.🤍

It's so special when I get to spend the whole day with two people, watching all the little moments unfold. The nervous excitement, the happy tears, the ridiculous amount of laughter, the hugs, the dancing and all those in-between moments that end up being some of my favourites.

Here’s a tiny sneak peek from their day while I disappear back into editing mode (with a very large coffee!😂).

When this lovely mum first got in touch after finding my website, I felt so honoured she chose me to capture such a special chapter and travelled all the way from London for her session 🙏🏼.

She wanted to celebrate her little boy's first birthday but she knew she didn't want the usual balloons or a cake smash. Instead, she wanted something more natural that felt like them.

We decided on a beautiful beach location and she brought along a few meaningful props to make the photos feel more personal.

The morning became a collection of firsts..., what a special way to celebrate his first birthday 🤎.
His first visit to the seaside. His first paddle in the sea. His first time feeling sand between his tiny toes (and also between his teeth!😂🫣). The first time touching seaweed (he wasn't sure about this one!)

There was nothing forced, nothing staged, just genuine smiles, real connection and all the love that already exists between them. These are the photographs I hope they'll treasure most. I want your gallery to feel like your family, not a Pinterest board. Beautiful? Definitely, but also honest, full of personality and filled with the little details that make your story unique.

Thank you for trusting me with these memories and for making the journey to the coast. It was such a privilege to tell a tiny part of your story.

Father's Day feels like the perfect day to share these beautiful moments.

This beach photoshoot was gifted as a Father's Day surprise, and what a special way to celebrate the bond between a dad and daughter.

Together they picked daisies, explored the dunes, threw stones into the water, climbed rocks, and spent the early evening doing all her favourite things with Dad, running, laughing, being thrown in the air, and of course, lots and lots of tickles. We even had time for a snack break.

These are the moments childhood is made of. The little adventures, the belly laughs, the cuddles, and the connection that deserves to be remembered.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, and father figures out there.

From the bridal prep at The Marine Hotel to the stunning reception at East Key Wedding Venue, this wedding day had everything 🤍

Happy tears, endless laughter, the most lovely couple, and the best bridal party who couldn't have been more helpful and who kept the dance floor buzzing all night. The sun was beaming and we were treated to the most incredible sunset to finish it all off. 🌅

Days like this are exactly why I love what I do. Capturing the quiet excitement of the morning to the golden-hour magic in the evening and all the fun in between.

A huge thank you to the amazing team for such a beautiful setting. It’s a pleasure to photograph weddings in such a stunning location and the Team are so friendly & welcoming.

This Father's Day give him something he didn't even realise he needed, but will treasure forever. 🤎

Not to sound dramatic but one day, the little hands reaching for his won’t be so little anymore 🥹. The shoulder rides, bedtime cuddles, silly games, belly laughs and “Daddy, watch this!” moments will quietly become memories.
