From the bridal prep at The Marine Hotel to the stunning reception at East Key Wedding Venue, this wedding day had everything 🤍

Happy tears, endless laughter, the most lovely couple, and the best bridal party who couldn't have been more helpful and who kept the dance floor buzzing all night. The sun was beaming and we were treated to the most incredible sunset to finish it all off. 🌅

Days like this are exactly why I love what I do. Capturing the quiet excitement of the morning to the golden-hour magic in the evening and all the fun in between.

A huge thank you to the amazing team for such a beautiful setting. It’s a pleasure to photograph weddings in such a stunning location and the Team are so friendly & welcoming.

This Father's Day give him something he didn't even realise he needed, but will treasure forever. 🤎

Not to sound dramatic but one day, the little hands reaching for his won’t be so little anymore 🥹. The shoulder rides, bedtime cuddles, silly games, belly laughs and “Daddy, watch this!” moments will quietly become memories.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR CHILDREN FOR A FAMILY PHOTO SESSION

Talk about me before the session.
Instead of “we have photos today,” try:
“We’re going to hang out with Rachel for an hour and have some fun!”
Hearing my name beforehand helps little ones feel more comfortable when we meet. They will feel like they already know me a little.

Make it sound FUN, not like a chore.
The less it feels like something they have to do, the more relaxed and happy they’ll be.

Comfort over fashion
If they hate itchy jumpers, stiff shoes, or scratchy dresses… everyone will know about it.
Choose outfits they feel comfortable and confident in.

Timing is everything
If possible:
• naps before the session = happier little humans
• dinner before evening shoots = fewer hangry negotiations

Avoid sweets beforehand
Sugar highs + photoshoots are a chaotic combination 😅
Save treats for afterwards as a little reward instead.

Please don’t stress if they don’t “behave”
I’m not expecting perfectly posed children who sit still and smile on command.
I’m there to capture your family as you are—the giggles, cuddles, chaos, and natural moments in between.

The best photos happen when everyone relaxes
Play with them. Cuddle them. Laugh with them and enjoy some precious uninterrupted time as a family.
