Here is resident vet, Nicky, making the assessment.

It seemed rather appropriate to share this update on Nora, donkey resident The Horse Trust as during a recent visit, I timed it as vet Nicky, was just making the assessment. My pictures in a separate post 😀

Nora update:

Our veterinary team has been pulling out all the stops to give our special girl the best possible care. Nora has now undergone a second surgery to remove the mass from her mouth, and this time, the team used a laser to target the deeper tissue more precisely.

During the procedure, the vets discovered a small area of diseased bone beneath the mass and safely removed it. We are hopeful that this underlying issue was the root cause of the problem and that we have finally gotten to the bottom of Nora's condition!

As always, her comfort and welfare are our top priorities as she begins her recovery. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support, we’ll keep you posted on her progress. HTx 💚

When I’m invited back to The Horse Trust to capture new images for the annual calendar, there’s always an experienced and willing groom on hand to assist with the various horses; back in May, it was Ed.

Turns out that Rafferty is Ed’s favourite 🐴 so when I was asked if I had any pictures including Ed, that he could have, it was my pleasure to send him these three.
