Today is World Ocean Day 🌊

When standing facing the roaring tides, it’s impossible not to feel humbled by the power, beauty and importance of our oceans. From the relentless waves crashing against ancient rocks to the incredible diversity of life hidden beneath the surface, the ocean connects us all.

Photographers are privileged to capture moments like these, but they also serve as a reminder of what we must protect for future generations.

“It seems dark and distant, but the ocean is the lifeblood of our home” – Sir David Attenborough

Today, let’s take a moment to appreciate the oceans that shape our planet, inspire our creativity, and sustain life itself.

As many of you know, we said our final goodbye to Geoff yesterday. He spent over five years bravely living with dementia and, throughout it all, he remained the strong, kind and caring man we knew and loved so much.

Before he passed away, Geoff helped create a very special photobook with myself. We had planned to make this a lot bigger, but unfortunately his disease made this impossible. Regardless, it shares an honest insight into what it was like to live with dementia from the perspective of the person suffering from the disease, as opposed to the normal books and leaflets people are given.

This book is still available to purchase (link below) for anyone who may wish to read it, support dementia awareness, or keep a piece of Geoff’s legacy close.

Thank you again for everyone’s kind words during this time 🙏

Through the lens of photographer Eleanor Brown and the poignant perspective of Geoff Edmonds, a man living with dementia, this powerful photo book invites readers to experience the reality of daily life with this often misunderstood condition. What may seem like a simple, everyday moment to the casu...

It was so lovely to be able to be a part of this, photographing the mass amount of toys donated by really kind individuals.

Thanks to these generous people, there will be many children with smiles on their faces this Christmas who otherwise would have gone without🎄

I have so many drives to and from work that give me such beautiful sights. Today is one of many that I had to pull over and stop the car to quickly take a shot.

Can you spot the little family looking at me in front of the sunrise?

This is why I love the countryside!
