As many of you know, we said our final goodbye to Geoff yesterday. He spent over five years bravely living with dementia and, throughout it all, he remained the strong, kind and caring man we knew and loved so much.
Before he passed away, Geoff helped create a very special photobook with myself. We had planned to make this a lot bigger, but unfortunately his disease made this impossible. Regardless, it shares an honest insight into what it was like to live with dementia from the perspective of the person suffering from the disease, as opposed to the normal books and leaflets people are given.
This book is still available to purchase (link below) for anyone who may wish to read it, support dementia awareness, or keep a piece of Geoff’s legacy close.
