😍 A Few Limited-Edition Canvas Prints Available! 📸

My recent shoot at the Scottish Crannog Centre in Perthshire was just too good to leave sitting on a hard drive, so I've decided to release a small number of limited-edition canvas prints!

I've chosen just **one landscape and one portrait photograph** from the shoot, making these a very exclusive addition to the Scotland's Night Sky collection.

My Solar Eclipse limited-edition prints sold quickly, and I still love the idea of releasing only a handful of prints for those who truly appreciate Scotland's night skies.

You might spot some postcards and other bits and pieces at the Crannog Centre itself! 👀

🚨 Crannog Video Is Live!! 📸

Check out the latest video on YouTube of myself capturing the milky way at an amazing location a few weeks ago when the weather was a little more pleasant.

Moon is bright just now and I'm currently moving house so probably last adventure for a few weeks but boy its a good one.

📸The Next Garvault Weekend!! 😍

13th - 15th November, Photography Weekend

Enjoy a weekend of stargazing / astrophotographer at the UK’s most remote hotel. The Garvault House is home to the darkest skies in the UK as the site is located far in the moorlands in the north or Scotland.

During the day Golden Eagles and Wild Stag’s roam around the garden, just spectacular.

During the weekend enjoy indoor presentations, photography tuition and stargazing with professional astrophotographer Andrew Allan.

✅Weekend includes:
- 3 Course Meals
- Breakfast
- Saturday Lunch

🔥 The Story Behind These Images👇🏻

These images are becoming my favorites as there is a lot going on.

✅ The sky has a great atmosphere with faint clouds and good colours.

✅ The foreground is super rare as not accessible at night without special permission.

✅ The faint warm light from the Taymouth Marina across the loch illuminates the foreground in a nice orange light plus autumn is in full swing in highland Perthshire so the trees are beautiful.

✅ Such a hard shot to get due to position of the Milky Way so you only have a few weeks of the year this composition is possible due to moon phase, and not to forget to get clear skies in the centre of Scotland you really need a good high pressure system.

All of the above just makes the story behind these images why I love them so much, astrophotographers will understand. 📸

👀 Amazing Aurora! 😍

Well October 10th is becoming a reliable date for catching a great Northern Lights display!

I took the short trip to Newburgh as the northern view there is superb and as you can see in one of the pictures, you can park right on the viewpoint.

We had two burst of the aurora last night which was great!

Got a video coming very soon and its looking amazing!
