๐Ÿ‘€ A Re-Launch is Coming โœจ

Looking forward to having a new system, look and progression for my photography. Almost there now :)

๐Ÿ˜ Noctilucent Clouds are Coming! โœจ

Any day now we can all get the dust of the camera's and photograph the beautiful NLC's.

You just need clear skies and a view of the northern horizon as these clouds can be low in the north.

Noctilucent clouds form when moisture high in the atmosphere freezes onto tiny particles of dust, creating ice crystals. They form during summer when temperatures in the mesosphere become their coldest. Due to the angle of the sun the sunlight makes them glow from our point of view.

โœจ One Of My Favourite Images! ๐Ÿ‘€

This image has to up there in my top 5. Although there isn't an insane night sky with aurora or milky way or bright constellations the balance of the image is just beautiful.

Buachaille Etive Mรฒr is one of the most famous mountains in Scotland so no matter what photography you are into this mountain will always creep into your camera at some point.

โœจ Just Can't Beat The Cairngorms Sky! ๐Ÿ˜

One of the best places in the UK to do astrophotography. This image was taken on the banks of Loch Morlich earlier this year.

The bright star just left of centre is Jupiter. It was a great year to have Jupiter high in the sky throughout the winter months.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Not long until the next Tenerife Adventure. A week under some of the darkest skies in Europe is one of the best ways to relax and slow down!

Tenerife is a perfect place for Astro as itโ€™s very accessible and plenty of places to get away from the crowds.

โœจ What A Display This Was ๐Ÿ˜

Last October on one of my weekend tour workshops we were blessed with an insane Aurora show over the Moray Coast.

Fantastic clear skies as the night sky literally exploded with light right in front of us!

Canโ€™t wait to share more experiences like that again with more and more people!

Missing the dark skies already ๐Ÿ˜ž

๐Ÿ˜ Missing Night Like This!๐Ÿ”ฅ

With the aurora you never know what colours you'll see. On this particular evening the aurora turned a blood red colour. The colour red is very vibrant to human eyes so when you get a red show your in for a treat!

๐Ÿ‘€ Milky Way Core in Perthshire! ๐Ÿ“ธ

This amazing little location in the Perthshire highlands is great for capturing the Milky Way core in the autumn time as the twisting road frames the Milky Way perfectly.

๐Ÿคฏ 50mm Milky Way Core! ๐Ÿ“ธ

This image here was a 90 seconds exposure looking towards the milky way core in August as the milky way core was high in the night sky.

To get exposures like this you need a star tracker which is a device that allows your camera to track the night sky as it moves.

๐Ÿ˜ Loch Turret! ๐Ÿ“ธ

A favourite location near the central belt of Scotland has to be Loch Turret near Crieff as the landscape is phenomenal, dark skies are great (to the north and west) plus the car park is pretty much behind the camera.

This image was a 90 second exposure to get all the faint details of the Milky Way as it set in the North West in late Autumn.

So many colours in the night sky.
