📸 MONDAY NIGHT AT EDEN VALLEY CAMERA CLUB

How to be a Photographer (without losing the plot!)

Five Principles for Finding Fulfilment as a Photographer

🎤 Guest Speaker: Chris Sale

What do photographers really want? Fame, fortune, or something deeper?

This Monday, we welcome Cumbrian landscape photographer Chris Sale for an entertaining, thought-provoking and often humorous look at what makes photography truly rewarding.

Rather than focusing on expensive equipment or exotic locations, Chris explores the creative journey itself, sharing five principles to help photographers navigate the highs and lows of life behind the camera.

📷 The Five Principles:

Discovery: Finding joy in exploration and curiosity.

Authenticity: Creating photographs that reflect your own vision.

Progress: Developing your skills through practice.

Recognition: Sharing your work and connecting with others.

Purpose: Finding meaning in your photography and having something to say.

Illustrated with stunning photographs and stories from the Cumbrian landscape, this promises to be an inspiring evening for photographers of all genres and experience levels.

The book combines stunning wildlife photography with stories exploring the wildlife, landscapes and conservation challenges of the northern Pennines.

It's always nice to support photographers who have shared their work and experiences with the club.

📖 The book is available now, priced at £35, signed by the author with free UK delivery.
