Jenna and I are absolutely thrilled with the results and we were delighted to re live some magic moments from our day. To capture the morning preparations and to see what we were both doing was fantastic for us and the way you edited the clips gave our wedding a very happy theme, with everyone looking like they were having a good time. Bonus wedding tip: Burying a wedding sausage doesn’t always work… 😉

We all know the unpredictable nature of British weather (especially in the North West), but when you’re planning a true DIY wedding, a Lancashire downpour can feel like the ultimate wildcard.

When Emily and Jonny planned their DIY wedding in Poulton-le-Fylde, they envisioned a relaxed, personal day centered around family, community, and their children. What they didn’t necessarily envision was the absolute torrential rain that was to greet them.

But here is the honest truth about wedding days: The weather doesn’t dictate the mood; the people do!

I get to be a guest at a wedding in July. Now I'm overthinking what to wear and what I need to carry when I haven't got a camera in my hand!

This room has the best light so I embraced the renovation chaos and made a thing of it 😂

Now the only issue is the one that looks good with the bare brick background is red. I can't un-hear what maid of honour said about the guest that wears red to a wedding...😬🫣😂

So what are you thinking? Which dress should I wear with my heels?

There are honestly no words... I wanted to share these words from Katie and Niall because I know you'll be able to feel what they're feeling after seeing their highlights video for the first time.

That awe and amazement of being able to relive your day in the most special way... you honestly can't understand it until you feel it yourself.

So I know it's a leap of faith putting your trust in me when you're hiring a videographer because you can't possibly know what I'll be able to create from your day until you've live it but know you'll feel like this when you do watch it....

The Half Term Juggle. I'm prepared yet it's still a juggle...

I purposely plan my time so there's minimal work over the school breaks because I learnt early on with my first born that it's near impossible to work with kids around (and when you do, you just become irritated and grumpy because you can't get anything done 😅)

So know that I will be checking emails, the socials will likely be all about the sunshine and the Southport Food Festival (which is this weekend FYI) along with my pre-planned posts.

Anyone else got any plans for this scorcher of a week...?

"We watched the film about 4 times back to back on Wednesday night and again tonight. I haven’t emailed before now because I was looking for the right words…. and I’m still not sure I have got them.

You, and the film, are incredible. We have cried every time. We are both filling up now as I type. We absolutely love it and feel like you have captured our day in the most wonderful way.

Looking back, I can’t believe we only wanted a video for dad…. and I am so glad you were there while I was getting ready. I actually look comfortable in front of the camera!!

You know I was adamant I didn’t want to be videoed but as soon as I saw you filming Marella it became massively important to me to capture those moments and for Ian to see them too.

The two camera approach in church was an absolute winner. It’s something we will watch time and again.

We haven’t shared the highlights with many yet but the feedback was a universal “wow” and some complaints about the impact on eye make up whilst watching!

I’m so glad we found you and went with our guts. You are worth every penny, an absolute angel and I have been singing your praises."
