A photo captures the hug, but it can’t capture the sharp intake of breath when your dad opens the door. It can’t catch the (not so) quiet sob from your bridesmaids in the background, or the sound of your own voice shaking when you say, "Hi Dad."
When couples ask me if wedding videography is really worth the investment, this moment right here is my answer. One of many I LOVE watching back from my own wedding over 17 years ago!
Your wedding morning moves at lightning speed. You are so caught up in the excitement, the hairspray, and the fizz that these tiny, split-second emotions blur together.
Having a video means you don't just remember what your dress looked like, you remember how it felt to put it on and how everyone reacted! You get to hear your dad’s reaction and feel that exact lump in your throat all over again in ten years' time.
That isn't just "pretty wedding footage" and a "nice to have". That’s a family heirloom.
Thinking about having your wedding morning captured? Drop me a message with your date and venue to check my availability!
