My shoot with James was amazing and honestly couldn’t recommend him enough!

He is such a great photographer and made the whole experience so fun, relaxed and comfortable from the moment we started.

As someone who is currently in between jobs, I really wanted something that would give me a confidence boost and this shoot definitely did that. James made me feel completely at ease in front of the camera and helped me feel confident throughout the whole session.

I’m so happy with the experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and genuinely lovely photographer.

Thank you again, James!

There’s a line from a SitCom I once heard that’s never left me:

We never get to say goodbye to the many versions of our children. 💭

The baby who could barely open their eyes… 👶
The little explorer crawling their way through the world… 🧸
The one who held your hand a little tighter than necessary… 🤝
The child who asked a thousand questions… ❓

They don’t disappear all at once.
They quietly become someone new.

And then one day… you realise every version of them has walked out the door at the same time. 🚪

This is Fynn.
Almost 14. ✨

Not a child.
Not yet a man.
Somewhere in between—figuring things out, finding his place, becoming who he’s meant to be.

And if you’re his age, maybe you feel that too.
Like you’re standing in the middle of everything changing… 🌱
Not quite sure who you are yet—but knowing you’re not who you used to be.

That space matters.
You matter. ❤️

And for us as parents and step parents… it moves faster than we ever expect. ⏳

That’s why these moments deserve to be held onto.
Not just in our memories—but in something we can see, feel, and return to.

Because one day, this version of them will be gone too.

And you’ll wish you could step back into it… just for a second. 💫

If you’ve been thinking about capturing your family as they are right now—this is your sign.

Don’t wait for the “perfect time.”

This is the moment. 📸

There’s a quiet question most people carry when they put themselves out there:

“Does this actually feel like me?” ✨

When Terry Molloy reached out ahead of his steampunk event, this wasn’t about stepping into a studio or forcing a look that didn’t fit…

It was about meeting him where he already felt most like himself 🏡
Working within his own space, shaping the light, the mood, the story 🎨
And then building a world around him that felt authentic to who he is ⚙️

Because personal branding doesn’t have one look.

For some, it’s bold and theatrical.
For others, it’s quiet, grounded, and real.

But the common thread?

It has to feel like you.

If your current images feel disconnected…
too polished, too generic, or just not quite right…
that’s usually a sign the process didn’t start with you 🧠

I shape every session around your world, your energy, and what you need your portraits to do for you ⚡
Whether that’s opening doors, attracting the right people, or simply allowing you to feel seen in a way you recognise.

Because when that alignment is there…
people don’t just see you.

They get you.

And that’s when everything starts to shift ✨

Yesterday’s afternoon with Annika Burke was a reminder that Branding Portraits aren’t really about how you look — they’re about the energy you carry when you’re fully at ease in yourself ✨⚡️

We worked within just one room of her beautiful home 🏡 moving slowly between different areas — the exposed brick wall 🧱 the central space 🌿 the window sill where the light naturally settled ☀️ Nothing forced. Nothing overly directed. Just small shifts that allowed something different to surface each time.

A change in presence 🌬️ A change in pace 🕊️ A change in how she met the moment.

And that’s where the work really begins.

When things are allowed to settle, people stop performing. They soften into themselves. They become less aware of the camera and more aware of the moment they’re in 📸 And in that space, something far more honest starts to emerge — not constructed, not managed, just recognisable.

That’s what people actually connect with 🤍

Not perfection, but resonance. The sense that someone is fully present in who they are and what they do, without needing to push it.

In just a couple of hours ⏳ that room gave us everything we needed — a set of portraits that feel grounded, intuitive, and quietly confident.

If your current imagery doesn’t quite carry that same sense of alignment, it might be time to change how you’re being seen.

If you’d like to explore that, let’s talk ⚡

What started as a Headshots & Branding Portraits session today, ended with a full-blown Glam Empowerment moment ✨

Today’s shoot with Eli London was pure magic.

The music was up, the energy was flowing, poses turned into movement, movement turned into dancing and somewhere along the way, this version of her showed up.

Giving Golden Era Hollywood icon meets Bond girl vibes.
Effortless. Powerful. Unapologetically seen.

This is what happens when you feel safe, seen, and free to play.

You stop posing and start owning the room.

Sometimes you come in for new portraits and leave with a renewed connection to yourself 💫

If you’re ready to be truly seen, Let’s capture the real you!⚡️

Yesterday’s natural light shoot with the wonderful Christy Gosling felt like one of those sessions where you simply let things unfold.

After watching Labyrinth at the cinema for its 40th anniversary re-release, I’d been craving something a little darker. Moody, gothic, a touch otherworldly, but still soft and human. So we played. Tried new looks. Let shadows breathe. Let Christy just be.

We wandered through the ivy-clad walls of Plantation Garden, then into the quiet drama of the cathedral cloisters. Two wildly different spaces, both offering their own kind of magic. Norwich really does give you everything if you slow down enough to notice.

What I loved most wasn’t just the light, though it was beautiful, but the ease of it all. No pressure. No performing. Just curiosity, trust, and space to explore different sides of yourself. That’s where real empowerment lives.

These are just a few sneak peeks.

If you’ve ever felt drawn to portraits that feel cinematic, soulful, and truly you, this might be your sign.

🖤
Let’s capture the real you.

Earlier today I had the absolute pleasure of capturing new Headshot & Branding Portraits for Darren O’Neill. An upcoming actor with a genuine passion for the craft and a real hunger to learn from everyone he meets along the way.

In an industry where first impressions often happen before you ever step into the room, your Headshots aren’t just about looking “right”. They’re about feeling like yourself. When you recognise yourself in your portraits, something shifts. Confidence grows. Submissions feel lighter. Auditions feel less daunting.

Great Headshots don’t try to turn you into someone else. They support who you already are, exactly where you are on your journey. That confidence carries through every application, every self-tape, every opportunity.

Darren, I’m wishing you the very best and greatest success as you step forward into this next chapter. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep trusting your path. It’s only just beginning.

If you’re an actor or creative who’s been putting off new headshots because the idea feels uncomfortable or overwhelming, know this. You don’t have to arrive as a finished version of yourself. You just have to arrive as you. The rest unfolds naturally 🤍

Today’s sneak peeks from an incredible session with Lauren Newman⚡️

Lauren hadn’t had Headshots taken in around 10 years, so this session wasn’t just about updating her portfolio. It was about stepping into who she is now. The growth, the confidence, the lived-in magic that only time gives you.

From the moment we started, Lauren showed up with trust, openness, and a real willingness to be seen. As the session unfolded, something shifted. The flow came. The confidence followed. Every look, every movement, every expression felt more alive than the last. These are the moments I live for as a Portrait Photographer.

This is what happens when connection leads the session. When someone feels truly seen, not judged or directed into a version of themselves that doesn’t fit, everything opens up. The Portraits become more than images. They become mirrors. And when people recognise themselves in that way, it has a ripple effect. Confidence grows. Self-belief deepens. Doors open in careers, relationships, creativity, and in how we show up for our lives.

This was also my very first Portrait session of 2026 and if this is how the year is beginning, I’m quietly buzzing for what’s ahead. For the incredible souls I’ll meet, the stories I’ll be trusted with, and the moments when someone looks at their portraits and thinks, “I didn’t know I could look like that.”

Lauren, thank you for showing up so fully. Today was powerful 🤍

If you’ve been waiting for permission to be seen as you are now, consider this it!✨

A little sneak peek from today’s session with Ryan — a performer, a true gent, and an all-round joy to photograph. ✨

The conversation flowed, the laughs came naturally, and we settled into a rhythm that made the whole experience feel effortless. 🎭📸

Before every session, I reassure my clients of the same thing:

“You’re in great hands. I’ve got you.
We’ll move at your pace, and you’ll feel seen and safe throughout.
Don’t worry about blemishes or imperfections — that’s what my post-processing is for.
When you receive your digital contact sheet, you can comment on each portrait, noting anything you’d like polished or refined.
These sessions are a celebration of who you are, right now.
And you are already everything you need to be.” ✨

And here’s the reminder so many of us need:

We often put off being captured because we think we should look different, feel more confident, be further along in life, or somehow have ‘arrived’ at a better version of ourselves first. ⏳💭

But the person you are today — the real, present, evolving you — is more than enough. 🤍

Ryan embraced that.

And it shows in every portrait. 📸✨

There’s a moment I live for in every portrait session ✨
It’s quiet, almost unspoken. The instant someone sees the image on the back of the camera 📸

With Michael, it was that moment.
He looked down, paused, and I watched his expression soften into something powerful. A mix of pride, surprise, and recognition. Almost like he was seeing himself for the first time in a long while 💫

That shift is everything.
You can feel it in the way someone stands a little taller, the way their energy changes, the quiet confidence that follows 💭

When we see ourselves in our best light, something inside us remembers who we are 🌿
And that feeling doesn’t just stay in the studio. It follows you into your relationships, your work, and the way you move through the world 🌍

That’s why I do what I do ❤️
Empowerment isn’t about creating a perfect image. It’s about helping people see themselves again.
Because when that happens, everything else begins to rise with it ☀️
