Dance World Cup here she comes !!!!
This wee lady has been dancing, singing and entertaining since before she could walk. As one of the first babies in Little Kingdom Kids Bangor Lisa Stevenson and her team were forever telling us that she would be on the stage and they have followed her dance journey ever since. It is this personal connection that makes me so chuffed to share that they are a main sponsor in helping Poppy on her journey and for this we are so very grateful. (Watch this space for an upcoming social media post)
I could not write this post without acknowledging the sponsorship from the fabulously creative and chase your dreams attitude and support of amazing friend, artist and author Heather Green for her sponsorship. For this I need to give a huge plug for her Love of The Lough poetry and her children’s book The Duck, the limpet and the crab.
Another shout out to Cathy Allen and the lovely Dave, Nadine Mcshane-smyth, William Smyth and not forgetting Aunty Rho with the pink hair Rhoda Ferguson, the old skool crew and forever the cheerleaders x
The long suffering Gail Crossman R.M. Summer Karen Lisa Mills and family members who have also supported not only with sponsorship but with putting up with my incessant dance stories and Poppys “watch me” alongside my often absent friendship at times when their friend should be about but is off at a competition. THANK YOU x (ps that’s why I needed the long post because a big thank you is needed)
Poppy has achieved all of this whilst adjusting to a diagnosis of scoliosis, wearing a brace and the many many challenges that this brings yet she wears a pair of big girl pants and gets on with it. Her Daddy Ivan, her big brother Christian and I are so proud. I am so grateful for her teachers Excel Dance Company NI Brooke Porter Lynda Moore Spiers Jordan Hineson Emma Cairnduff Lauren Rebekah for providing Poppy with the best of teaching and the one place where she doesn’t feel “different” xx
I have never acknowledge Poppys scoliosis before on my social media and with her permission I thought this was the time to do it so that others can know and see that anything is possible!!
