The magnificent White-tailed eagle. UK’s largest bird with a massive 8ft wingspan, it’s not surprising it’s earnt the nickname of ‘flying barn door’.

Persecuted to extinction in UK and subsequently reintroduced in the 1970s, they can now be seen primarily in the west coast of Scotland where the majority of the breeding population reside. www.instagram.com/sampricewildlife
