Some dresses are found in bridal boutiques… and some are found in charity shops. 💕
And when that dress fits just perfectly? Well, I’m calling that fate. ✨

My gorgeous bride, Heather, found her dream dress in a charity shop, and honestly… could there have been a more perfect dress for her? I don’t think so.

Then there was Belfast City Hall, the grand marble staircase, the beautiful Rotunda, a whole lot of love, and two people who were simply SO happy to be getting married.

I absolutely love weddings like this. No fuss. No trying to fit into someone else’s idea of what a wedding should look like. Just two people doing it their way, surrounded by the people they love most.

A little bit of Belfast glamour, a little bit of gorgeous, and a whole lot of real, happy, messy, emotional moments. ❤️

And that dress? Proof that sometimes the best things in life are hiding where you least expect them. 🥹

I know that I share a lot of the beautiful, polished wedding photos on here...because, well, they're gorgeous 😍

But these? These are the ones that make my heart happy.

Elisha's gran is 92 and is such a cool lady. Would you believe...she got her ears pierced especially for the wedding so she could wear earrings!! (She confirmed it didn't hurt at all!🤣)

The absolute hysterics when mum was trying to do up her necklace, but it all just got too much. The excitement and nerves took over, ending up with a fit of laughter on the bed!

And bride and groom on the swings, legs in the air...just a little moment enjoying each others company. No posing. No pressure. Just them.
Those little in-between moments are the ones I find myself obsessing over w znd smiling at when I'm editing.. They're the bits that tell the real story of the dat!

Don't get me wrong, I love a good old epic confetti shot or the portraits that will undoubtedly end up centre of the wall. But I never want to miss the things that seem ordinary in the moment, because they are often the photos that end up meaning the most.

They're the ones that make you laugh, cry, and remember exactly what it felt like to be there. And for me that's what a wedding is all about 🤍

Oh my word!! What to say about how incredible Elisha and Graham's wedding was! These two wee love birds tied the knot at Ballydugan Mill with a very emotional ceremony conducted by Ann Pinkerton. 💕

Elisha had an incredible morning of getting ready - surrounded by a whole crew of very helpful family. After a wee toast with limoncello, no less(!), it was into her beautiful wedding gown and heading to Downpatrick.❤️

After the ceremony, the buzz continued with a very enthusiastic confetti throw!

Ballydugan has its own private lake garden and we headed there! After the groom was tossed in the air - much to the shock of the bride and bridesmaids, it was a short stroll back to the mill (Obviously stopping by the swings on the way there!). 🛝

Loads of time with friends and family and Sandy the dog of honour, before the speeches, cutting of the cake and partying hard into the night!
