It has been a very long time since I've been as 'dark and twisty' and just not loving life as I normally do, meh. It's just damn hard to do what you love when your not yourself and I hate to say it, but the camera wasn't lifted, the website and blog were totally neglected and photography really was the last thing on my mind over the last lot of months if I'm honest.

So it was a refreshing and welcomed change when I was asked to do Robbie's headshots again just before Christmas and we're continuning on with these over the next few months. There are also some confidence portrait sessions over the rest of this year which I'm actually really excited to get started. With that spark reignited, I decided to kick my own butt and get on top of the to do list, to play catch up and get myself in right frame of mind moving forward. Today's there's been a few new small tweaks made to the site, mostly for the contact form and a slight change of the services available but mainly there's also TWO new blog posts.

I've promised myself not to let it be so long next time. In fact I recently was gifted a new notebook so I'm gonna use it for my content planning and get back on top of all things related to JGPhotoNI. That's this evening's plans sorted anyway while I listen to the heavy rain fall outside.

Went to the Foy Vance gig last night where he played with the Ulster Orchestra
