I think Iām now on underwater camera number 6 or 7. Iāve tried others, hoping a newer (and often cheaper) model will offer the same thing. They never do. This isnāt an ad, just an appreciation post for the Panasonic Lumix DC-FT7. Now only found on second hand market sites. Panasonic UK - thank you for deciding to put 20MP into this tiny little camera! The clarity and detail this little point and click camera continues to capture never fails to delight me. It is the reason that I have, and will continue to search for this same model every time one dies on me (normally due to the eventual salt damage that will happen after many many uses) or the tether breaks and it is sacrificed to the sea. These images were taken this weekend in Newquay harbour, when the wind and rain had churned things up a little - and it still gets results like this. I think people expect me to have a massive water housing and use my DSLR, but why would I do that when my small but mighty orange camera brings me this much pleasure? šāØ
