🤍 A little update
I wanted to share a quick note, as I haven’t been keeping my social media updated since losing my beloved Dad in April.
Yesterday would have been his birthday, so we went along to his favourite restaurant, the zoo and his favourite beach to celebrate him. 🎈
My Dad and I were incredibly close; we spoke every single day, and losing him has been absolutely huge for me and all our family.
I’ve kept working, but on reduced hours — there have been days I’ve simply not been able to function. Grief truly is such a powerful, overwhelming thing.
Through August, I’ve been travelling up country to support my Mum with her care, and with the school holidays I’ve been making precious memories with my son — just like my Dad always did with me.
It feels extra special too that my Dad also did Portrait Photography, I only discovered his beautiful photos which he developed after he passed — many in exactly my favourite style. It really does run in the family. 📷
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has shown such kindness, patience, and understanding through this time — I truly appreciate every single one of you.
I’ll be sharing a full business update next week, and will be getting back into the swing of things once the kids are back at school.
