Jon & Joe’s laughter-filled wedding day proving once again that the very best weddings are the ones that feel completely, unapologetically you.

This wonderfully geeky Brookfield Barn celebration was full of — winter sunshine, beautiful humans, arcade games, pinball madness and one absolutely legendary silent disco.

The two gorgeous grooms were just the loveliest mix of calm, quietly loved-up and totally up for a day of fun (my absolute fave kind of energy to photograph). 😉

Relaxed vibes, big love and laughter, and a dancefloor that was quietly chaotic in the very best way.

Phew… this summer has been HOT 🥵🔥 but Leonie & Angela totally owned it on their wedding day at Islington Town Hall. One of the hottest days of the year, but also one of the most joy-filled. Laughter, tears, song and so much love 💗💗💗

Their ceremony kicked off with a grounding breathing exercise (which felt like the perfect way for everyone present to pause, reflect and soak it all in). Their mums read poems, the vows were beautifully personal, and then — the brides exited the ceremony (very appropriate I thought) to Chappell Roan's "Hot to go" !!!! 🌈✨
We had great fun with their couple shots, no posing required — just a sunny stroll down Upper Street, ice cream in hand, stopping off at their favourite haunts. Shooting in harsh sunlight in the middle of the day can be tough but I love it. Bright colours, rich contrasts and moody shades.... 😎📸

The celebrations carried on at the fabulous Depot N7 — all exposed brick, soaring ceilings, with that cool industrial chic vibe. Drinks in the courtyard to catch some shade, followed by pizza, Italian feast style and prosecco. And then… the best part of the day I thought … a piano singalong with the brilliant 🎹. Turns out Leonie & Angela (and their crew!) are absolute powerhouse singers — from pop bangers to show tunes, they basically turned the Depot into their own London version of NYC Marie’s Crisis. 🎶🍕✨ Absolutely fabulous. Loved it. 💗💗💗 After a quick outfit change the brides were taking the floor with their first dance!

What. A. Day.
Honestly? 10/10 day. The coolest wedding on the hottest day. I would happily do it all over again.

I love weddings that aren't too conventional and couples who aren't too fussed about tradition. Ellie and Andy's 💗 wedding end of June at Palm Court Restaurant, Brighton Palace Pier was just a shortie ⏰ (for me!). But we sure crammed loads in, in their 1.5 hours! (The couple actually created history being the first wedding to be held on Brighton Pier for decades)! The Palm Court Restaurant was an awesome venue to have the ceremony and celebration. Light, breezy and a very cool maritime vibe. The registrars from Brighton & Hove conducted a lovely ceremony.
Ellie and Andy had exactly the type of relaxed, love filled wedding ceremony they wanted. As time was of the essence we met up early on the pier for some couple pix, family groups and seagull photobombs! It's a great option and idea to do these shots before the ceremony, - if your timeline allows. This frees up more precious time after the ceremony to spend with loved ones. The couple walked down the aisle together to roars of applause from their guests and a beautiful choir sang during the ceremony.
