Situated on Stockton High Street, the Stockton Flyer is a 7-metre-tall kinetic automaton sculpture inspired by Locomotion No. 1. It was designed by artists Rob Higgs and Keith Newstead, and it commemorates the area's rich railway heritage.

It was great to meet Mabel today. I really appreciated the opportunity to photograph her beautiful little daughter.
