On Saturday I had the privilege of photographing a very special acoustic performance by Paul Weller at PILGRIM in Newcastle, alongside wonderful performances from Kathryn Williams and Amelia Coburn , with Steve Pilgrim accompanying Paul on guitar.
It was an incredibly intimate evening, made even more meaningful by the reason everyone was there. The event, organised in support of the Sir Graham Wylie Foundation , raised an incredible £40,000 for children and young people across the North East.
I was honoured to photograph the evening on behalf of Pilgrim Michael Lavery & Angie Jenkison , documenting not only some remarkable performances but also a night that will make a genuine difference to so many lives.
