On 25 September, I’m bringing my Newborn Photography Workshop to the beautiful island of Madeira, and I’m opening this experience to just 3 photographers.

Because I want this to be personal.

I want you to be able to ask the questions you’re sometimes too afraid to ask.
To get hands-on.
To have time to work through the things you struggle with.
And to have my full attention throughout the day.

I’ve trained under the incredible , and I’m excited to share the knowledge, techniques and experience I’ve gained throughout my own newborn photography journey.

Together, we’ll work through the parts of newborn photography that can make the biggest difference to your sessions:

✨ A confident, complete newborn workflow
✨ Preparing your clients and setting yourself up for a successful session
✨ Working with light to create soft, timeless images
✨ Wrapping and posing techniques
✨ Safe newborn handling — always the priority
✨ Creating consistency in your images and your workflow
✨ The questions, little details and practical tips that can completely change the way you approach a session

And because I don’t want your learning to end when you leave Madeira, you’ll also receive an online editing tutorial, plus a beautiful goodie bag including newborn props.

But ultimately, this workshop isn’t about leaving with a few pretty photographs.

It’s about leaving with more knowledge, more confidence and a workflow you can take straight into your own newborn sessions.

✨ Baby Joel… 🤍

The last time mum Neneh was in the studio, I was photographing big sister Penny’s 1st birthday cake smash 🎂✨ And now, she’s back with the sweetest little addition to the family ..baby Joel 🥹💙

At just 3 weeks old, Joel was oh-so-sleepy and absolutely perfect for his newborn session. 💤🤍

Mum brought along the beautiful wooden letters spelling JOEL, a special gift she had received, and they made the cutest little detail in his photos. 🥰✨

It was so lovely to capture another precious chapter for this family. 🤍👶🏻

You might have spotted me recently… wandering around with my Studio Astrid cards and flyers in hand 👀

Well… there’s a reason!

Two weeks ago, I bought myself a converted van — and I’ve decided it’s not just going to be for adventures… it’s going to be part of Studio Astrid too. 🤍

I’m now bringing my photography on the road around Scotland! 📸🏔️

You might know me mainly for my newborn photography, but Studio Astrid is so much more than that…

✨ Cake smashes
✨ And all the lovely little moments in between
