Every moment is once in a lifetime. For most, these moments become memories. For some, memories are forgotten--even memories that should live on eternally. I capture these moments and encapsulate them in photographs. I take the sweet slumber of a five-day-old infant and freeze it in time. Don't let precious moments slip by, whether it's your first time in a new home, the growing bump of your next child, or an important milestone in your life. Since receiving my first camera at the age of 10, I have been learning and growing in my ability to capture the world around me. Since 2010, people have entrusted me with their most important moments and their most precious creations--their love, their lives, and their children. I am blessed with a wonderful list of clientele and a portfolio I never could have dreamed I would produce. Every new client is a blessing, and every familiar face is a privilege. I am always looking forward to meeting and working with new families.

Poppy sessions are hugely about flexibility. Last year's field was the place of dreams, nestled tightly against a very tall tree line that blocked wind, and positioned so that the setting sun started casting shade on the field quite early on. This year, like most years, it is a very typical, wide-open field. This means the potential for lots of sun and wind until about 8:30 PM, and while it doesn't create ideal conditions, if you embrace it, we can absolutely still get gorgeous photos.

Zeus (aka Goose, Goober, Goobernator) is an almost-10-year-old Great Dane. A well-traveled gentleman, his story began in Nebraska, continued in California, and will end in England. Considerate of his size, he lays down to interact with small children and little dogs, and only inflicts his giant cuddle flops onto adults he knows can handle it. When he became a big brother, he took it upon himself to look over his new baby sibling with great care and attention. With age and the recent discovery of a large tumor in his stomach, Zeus came to me for a special Tails Over the Rainbow session, and what a perfect evening it was.

You are the sweetest, best boy, Zeus. Hoping your ticket over the rainbow bridge doesn't come before your birthday on the 20th!
