There is something magical that happens when women come together, put aside comparison, and let their inner light glow, releasing all our creativity together. During the retreat, we lift another up. Sometimes it’s a few encouraging words that stay with you long after the weekend ends, or a small settings tweak that could solve an issue you’ve been having. You may arrive hoping for beautiful photos, but you’ll leave with something even more valuable: a village of women cheering you on long after you’ve returned home. Don’t try to shake my hand like I’m your solicitor. Big hugs only.

You don’t need to perform. Just be present. Play, be affectionate with your kids and partner. That’s literally it. You’re not auditioning, just being yourself.

If there’s a gap between you and the person next to you, close it. We’re going for “can’t tell where one of you ends and the other begins,” not “polite distance at a funeral.”

Don’t stand behind me trying to make your baby laugh—I’ve got it. I want eye contact with the camera.

If we’re at the beach, take your shoes off. Toes belong in sand, I don’t care if they’re ugly, I rarely get a close-up.

Be patient: I might ask you to do something twice. It’s not a test, I just didn’t get it the first time because a small human was eating a leaf.

Don’t squish your nose into your child or partner’s face: it rarely looks cute. Try a gentle Eskimo kiss instead.

If I’m pressing the shutter… well shut it. No one looks good mid-sentence, not even you.

Hum instead of singing. Trust me on this one.

Help me keep an eye on baby clothes riding up—because I will absolutely miss it while trying to capture magic.

Live the moment like it will never happen again—because it might.

Each session is so unique because you are. Every family or couple who crosses my lens gets my full attention. I create a custom experience, listening to your story. We select a location that makes sense for you and pick outfits that feel like you. Even with the edits, I let myself feel every element, so it never feels like copy and paste.

What would your session feel like? I am now taking bookings for September and October, when I am back at work after my mat leave.
