Sharing my love for the Outdoors ⛰️ 🥾

2026 Peak District Calendar now available 🙂

Hi, I’m Will. For the past eight years my eye has been set down the view finder, capturing the world around us. I have always seen this world in a unique light, quite literally. Being born with Ambylopia (Lazy eye) and Deutranopia, it means that my brain only uses one eye, of which is colour blind. I wouldn’t say that I have struggled with this, i’m just aware that I see everything different. What

made me become a photographer when vision is quite clearly very important? I have a love for art, the outdoors, and being able to look back on those incredible moments. I refuse to let this condition control what I do with my life, and so far I think my work is pretty good. Good enough to get booked for events, and sell prints of my landscapes at least. It’s quite funny really, because it usually comes as a shock when I tell people, it’s quite the juxtaposition. But it works, I also have no idea what my images really look like! But as long as you like them, that’s all that matters.

I used to be a nature purist and avoid all things that took away from it, but now I see how they can work in harmony. Particularly when it comes to building composition, in some cases I think it can become more personal as you relate to being inside the scene itself.

Regarding my camera, I’m still in contact with the insurance company although they’re not the easiest to work with. Multiple days before hearing back from them and very slow progress, it’s quite frustrating as this my actual job.

Anyway, lots of love for all of the support so far and people who have been buying prints, it means the world!

Do you like these videos with photography tips? I’m keen to make some longer version for YouTube and kickstart my workshops again :)

Please let me know.

How often do you experiment with long exposures? Capturing waterfalls are a practical way to understand how your camera actually reads light and movement when your shutter is left open.

As explained in the video, there won’t be any more of this for me until I can afford to get a new camera, which is why I’m making these videos on my proof prints. Each new video will have a photography tip included, aswell as a new print for sale :)

Drop a comment or message me and I’ll send you the link to the listing on my website, thank you for the support either way, a like, comment, save, share etc all goes along way and helps boost my work to more people 📸❤️

Fog will transform your woodland photography! Here’s a simple way to create better images. If you head out on a day forecasted for low cloud or fog, you might be in luck to find your local woodland covered.

It’s this atmosphere which helps build mysticism and awe in your scene. Not only that, it strips away the background chaos and overlapping branches, helping you with a cleaner image to focus on a subject or story.

This image I titled Gatekeeper, and my proof print is now for sale. A 1 of 1 for £65 including free shipping. Printed onto Fine Art Paper, hand signed, mounted and ready to be framed.

I’m only selling these proof prints because my camera broke recently and that’s how I create all of my work, to help fund a new one I’m letting go of my personal collection. Any support on this project is massively appreciated, a share to a friend who might like this photo, or a share onto your story goes a long way!

Thank you everyone :)

Have you been here before? This image is titled Gatekeeper, it’s at the entrance/ exit of the woodland and doesn’t often see this much fog!

Generally, it stays much further up the Gorge but on this morning I got super lucky as the conditions lined up.

All of my prints are on Hahnemule Photorag which is a Fine Art paper and industry leading quality - it’s a shame about my camera but it has given me a fresh drive to get my artwork out there and into your homes or office space, much better than collecting dust in my bedroom.

Thank you for watching, and remember, this is a 1 of 1 proof print, when it’s gone it’s gone 📸

‘Roach Light’ from a summer sunrise in the Peak District, first come first serve on these 1 of 1 prints!

It’s much better for one of you to display a beautiful image rather than them sit in a box under my bed. So it’s about time I let them go to help pay towards a new camera.

If you know someone who might like this print please send this video to them! Thank you for all of the support on the last image, it sold almost instantly.

The community on here is amazing ❤️📸

Unfortunate news about the camera but at least these prints can be enjoyed rather collecting dust in storage.

I print onto Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 Fine Art paper, and hand sign each one.

I have a total of 23 individual prints in stock which I will be making a series of videos on like this, my other limited run sets are on a print on order basis so not currently in my hands but can have a turn around time of about week!

Win Hill is such an incredible place, dare I say under rated! I nice calf burner up to the top through the woodland which opens up to some beautiful views of the Peak District… particularly in the back end of summer when it is covered in heather 🤩📸

I have quite a large gallery of images now that I am really proud of, and I would be very grateful if you checked it out and let me know your thoughts :)

We’re making progress! The van is almost ready 😁 Here’s what I used to soundproofed, insulated and carpet my micro camper.

I can’t wait to get this into the highlands for a photography trip of a lifetime - I would love for you to follow along and let me know what you think. Any advice is welcomed :)

Thank you to and for the advice and great products!

A set from Ramshaw Rocks I took a couple of years ago when I started my freelance journey, this is how I edited them back then, I feel like there’s some real potential in these images and I should go back to the RAWs and spend some time bringing them to life.

Decent shots though 👌

I have a photography series planned, which I will head out and start once the floor is in my van. 23 locations around the Peak District for some incredible photography 📸
