Most couples planning their wedding have the same thing in common. Do you know what it is?
It’s not their budget and costs.
It’s not their huge to do lists.
It’s not their guest lists or trying to pick their dresses or suits.
The same sentence I hear over and over again is this -
“We really don’t like having our photo taken. I’m worried I’ll look awkward"
Please know, you are far from alone! And it’s totally normal to feel this way! Most of us aren’t used to being the centre of attention and being photographed, especially by a professional. It’s totally normal to have this fear and feel apprehensive. But I promise you, I will alleviate it!
99% of my photos won’t even involve you looking at the camera. Most of my photos are relaxed, candid moments, the story of your day being quietly observed and captured with all the raw emotions and joy. I read the people, I read people and interactions, while you simply enjoy every second of your perfect day.
Even couple photos aren’t an excuse to make you pose awkwardly. You’ll be having a moment together, while I capture your connection. No robotic arm movements, having to stand still in a certain way. Just natural, relaxed, beautiful photos of you both.
And before your big day even arrives, you’ll already feel comfortable with me. We’ll have chatted, got to know each other, I’ll have put you at ease and I’ll know what you’re like as people, your energy and personalities.
By the end of the day, most of my couples have forgotten I’m even there photographing. Virtually every gorgeous review says the same - “it felt more like we had another family member there, who happened to be taking photos even though we never realised”
If you’re planning your wedding and this sounds like you, I’d love to chat. I have a couple of dates left for 2026 and I’m booking 2027 and beyond 🩷
