What an amazing last day in Canterbury with Runway Training and Andrew Taylor

Today we got the students flying drones and learning more about how they are used across different industries. It was great to see them getting hands-on, building confidence and enjoying the experience.

We also had a special guest appearance from our robotic dog, Ben Ben, who definitely stole some of the attention. Because apparently drones weren’t exciting enough on their own.

A brilliant way to finish the programme. Hopefully we’ve inspired a few future drone pilots to take to the skies.

It’s always great catching up with our friend Antoni Corone, best known to Only Fools and Horses fans as Rico, and this time he was proudly sporting an Elite Drone Soccer cap!

We’ve known Antoni for a while, and despite a career that has seen him work alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names, he’s always been incredibly supportive of what we’re doing.

Seeing our Elite Drone Soccer branding being worn by a talented actor and good friend means a lot to us. It’s amazing how drone soccer continues to bring together people from all walks of life, from schools and STEM events to corporate teams and even the world of film and television.

Thanks for your continued support, Antoni. We look forward to catching up again soon.

FPV drone work is not always a perfect flight every time.

You see the smooth shots, the cinematic reveals and the final polished edit, but nobody really shows the crashes.

So here’s one for you.

Whilst out filming in Iceland, the plan was to fly through the Land Rover window and reveal the waterfall in the background.

Take one didn’t quite go to plan… lol.

Sometimes you get the shot. Sometimes the drone reminds you who’s boss.

Great to see the Notcutts site in Maidstone coming along nicely

The wall is almost complete, and from above, the progress is really starting to take shape.

Always good to capture a site as it develops and show the work from a different perspective.
