Not because they weren’t important, but because we were too busy living them.

This season.This chapter. This version of you.

One day, it’ll simply become part of your story.

That’s why I believe so deeply in being photographed. Not to prove anything. Not to become someone else. But to be able to look back years from now and remember the woman you were in this moment.

One of the biggest misconceptions about bridal bo***ir is that you need to feel confident before you book. You don't.

In fact, I'd say the vast majority of my brides arrive feeling exactly the opposite.

They tell me they're awkward in front of the camera.
They've spent weeks wondering if they're brave enough to go through with it.

And almost every single one says some version of the same thing..."I'm really nervous."

The truth is, confidence isn't something you're expected to bring with you. It's something that often grows throughout the experience.

My job isn't to photograph women who already know how beautiful they are. It's to gently guide women who perhaps don't see themselves that way yet.

That's why there are no expectations, no pressure to know how to pose, and no requirement to arrive feeling fearless. Just come exactly as you are.

I don’t photograph women because they already feel confident.

I photograph them because life rarely gives us permission to stop and see ourselves with kindness.

Sometimes that’s all a photograph really is.

A quiet reminder that you were here. That your story mattered.

That you deserved to exist in front of the camera too. ❤️

One day, these photographs won’t simply remind you how you looked.

They’ll remind you who you were.

The woman standing on the edge of a new chapter. The one who chose to pause. To be present. To remember herself exactly as she was in that moment.

One of my lovely clients recently wrote:

“I’m sure I’ll appreciate the photos even more as the years go by.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Because bo***ir isn’t just about creating photographs you’ll love today.

It’s about creating photographs your future self will treasure decades from now.

I think that’s something every woman deserves. ❤️

One of the biggest misconceptions about bridal bo***ir is that you have to arrive feeling confident.

You don’t. In fact, I’d say almost every bride who walks through my door tells me some version of the same thing…

“I’ve never done anything like this before.”

“I’m a bit nervous.”

“I don’t know how to pose.”

“I’m worried I’ll feel awkward.”

Confidence isn’t something I expect you to bring with you. It’s something we build together.

We start with a cup of tea, a chat, professional hair and makeup, and absolutely no pressure.

Little by little, the nerves begin to fade.

By the end of the morning, you’re no longer thinking about posing or what to do with your hands. You’re simply present.

That’s when the most beautiful photographs are made.

Not because you’ve suddenly become a different person… But because you’ve relaxed enough to be yourself.

And that’s always the woman I hope you remember.

“If not now, when?”

It’s such a simple question, but one that stays with me.

When Vili booked her bridal bo***ir session, she told me she was doing it as a gift for her future husband… but also for herself.

Like so many brides, she arrived feeling nervous. She didn’t know what to expect and wondered if she’d be confident enough.

By the time she left, she described feeling something completely different.

Proud.

That’s the word that has stayed with me ever since.

Because while these photographs will always become a beautiful wedding morning gift, I hope they also become a reminder of this chapter in her life.

A reminder of the excitement, the anticipation and of the woman she was before she became a wife.

There was one answer in this bride's questionnaire that I haven't been able to stop thinking about...

"I'm getting married, this looks like a great thing to do for my future husband, but for me too. And if not now, when else would I do something like this?"

I think that captures exactly why I love bridal bo***ir.
Yes, many brides initially book because they want to surprise their partner with something incredibly personal on the morning of their wedding.

But somewhere along the way, the experience becomes about so much more than that. It becomes a chance to pause.

To step away from seating plans, timelines and endless to-do lists.

To spend a morning celebrating this incredible season of your life.

Vili admitted she arrived feeling really nervous because she didn't know what to expect. By the end of the session, she told me she felt so proud of herself.

That word means more to me than any compliment about the photographs.

Because that's what I hope every bride takes home with her.
Not just beautiful images...
..but a little more confidence, a little more kindness towards herself, and a reminder that she deserves to be part of the story too.

Some photographs become precious the moment they’re taken. Others become precious because of the story they’re about to tell.

These were created as a surprise for her bride-to-be. A wedding morning gift, a secret kept for months.

When she came back to view her collection, there were happy tears, because she was looking at a chapter of her life she’d never get to live again.

The excitement before the wedding. The anticipation, the quiet moments in between.

In just a little while, these images will be opened by the woman she loves, and they’ll become part of their wedding story forever.

It feels like such a privilege to create something so deeply personal.
