In front of the camera for once!

Yesterday we swapped roles and spent some time in the woods making memories as a family while someone else captured them for us.

With Mark being a photographer, he usually is the one documenting everyone else’s moments, so it was really special to slow down, be present, and get in front of the camera with the people who mean the most.

The kids ran wild, there were plenty of laughs, and we came away with photographs we’ll treasure for years to come.

A reminder that no matter how many photos you take, you deserve to be in them too.

I was going to post this tomorrow as a reflection on 2025, but while putting this together I couldn’t ignore how emotional it made me.

Each photo represents a moment I was trusted to be part of — big birthdays, formals, wedding days — and so many incredible people. I’ve been lucky enough to get to know couples, their families and friends, and even see that trust passed on through bookings and gifted experiences.

As a small business owner, this support means more than words. This business isn’t funding luxury holidays or designer wardrobes — it supports my family and helps me give my kids everything they need, and some of the things they want too.
