Another beautiful and intimate family wedding this summer with Lianne and Gavin.

I have to say, these weddings bring out the tears in me, followed always by craic and laughter.

It is such a beautiful opportunity to photograph real and genuine connections between the bride and groom with close family and friends.

I am forever grateful I get to do this 🥰

Saint Benedict & Miraculous Medals

A powerful place and a truly uplifting experience for the unveiling of the beautiful St Benedict statue.

As we drove up towards the spot, cars lined the roads and people came in their droves. Babies in prams, young folk and old. The place was packed!

My mum just blurted out 'build it and they will come' and I smiled. A line from one of my favourite movies - A Field of Dreams.

"O glorious St. Benedict, sublime model of all virtues, pure vessel of God's grace!
I humbly come before you today, seeking your powerful intercession and protection from all evil. Shield me against my enemies, inspire me to imitate you in all things, and erect the Holy Cross as a powerful shield between me and the forces of darkness.
Protect my loved ones, my home, and my workplace. In Jesus’ Name. Amen."

Marissa & Seamus decided on a small wedding in what we used to call the 'wee crying chapel' at St Joseph's.

It was a fitting location for sure. A few tears were shed as family and friends watched these sweethearts declare their love before God.

We had a really beautiful mass before proceeding to the well and a beautiful night was had.
We had a few raffle winners and a giggle afterwards with a hot cuppa and a few too many sweet treats 😋

As you can see, a lot of 'mammy' planning went into this and there was no way a few (heavy) drops of rain was going to get in the way of this family photoshoot.

The mammies wanted all the grandkids photographed together for their granny's 70th birthday and I'm delighted with the results.

I absolutely LOVE this job and getting to meet such lovely people along the way is the biggest bonus to me.

Look at all those beautiful wee faces.

Corpus Christi Procession

Thank you Fr Gerard for inviting me to capture such a special time in our church calendar.

All the new communicants were so lovely and reverant and enjoyed a wee ice-cream afterwards.

We even got a break in the rain after mass.
God is so good 🙏☺️

My second time photographing for this mammy.
What a privilege it is to be trusted with all these wee milestones.

To feature Ayda's big bro in the photos, mammy and daddy had to throw about a few bribes.
(The things parents promise for a good photo always makes chuckle 😆)

I photographed his first birthday pics too and it was lovely seeing him all grown up. A big 3!

Gorgeous Hannah on her first holy communion photoshoot.

My second time photographing this family at their beautiful home nestled between the rolling fields of Donegal.

Lambs frolicked in the background and a light warm breeze kept us cool on a scorching spring day.

Hannah even posed beside her very own tree that granny and granda had planted especially for her.
How lovely is that!

This time it was beautiful wee Harlyn's turn and she was a delight!
