I actually did this back late July - took me a minute to get around to the editting and I really noticed the difference in the colour rendering this time around- the Cabon 50mmF1.8 seems to render a lot more saturation in colours and almost adds a purple hue and a warmer tone, having jumped back onto the Sigma 18-35 since this which produces far cooler neutral tones and colours. both are incredible lenses, just interesting to see the difference after so long of using one, then so long of using the other, then changing back for a couple of days!
If youre new here, my name is Matt! Check out my website in my bio! I'm a London based street and occational event photographer shooting for the last 6 years on a Canon EOS 600D and since December 2025 on a EOS 90D - an absolute beast of a DSLR. I use the Sigma Art 18-35 F1.8, Canon 50mm F1.8, and occasionally the Canon 28-80 and Canon 80-200. I shoot Manual mode Auto ISO and edit all images myself in a signature vintage style.
I'm on the road to 10k! I'd massively appreciate any support or engagement to help get there and I'll keep the pictures flowing. I post 3 times a day on TikTok and a few times a week on Instagram - mostly reels recycled from TikTok 😂 DM or use the contact form on my website for bookings or collaborations.
