It's got drama, incredible storytelling, music and dance, and I loved photographing it! Matthew Bourne's The Car Man is based loosely on Bizet's opera Carmen, and this time the 19th century Spanish cigarette factory is reimagined as a 1950s garage-diner in the American Mid-West.
On until the 29th August at Sadler's Wells - go see it if you get the chance! 🎭

Super chuffed with this new review I received today! And I knew once I saw them she'd be happy with the photos of the family which included her autistic nephew (I was so happy we managed to get them and how well they turned out, as in fact her sister, his mum, said she had no family photos with her two sons because he didn't usually like having his photo taken). I love the idea that now they have photos of the full extended family that can be put up on the wall! 🥰

A whirlwind music adventure! 🎤📸🎶
Just an average week, this past week.
I photographed a huge Japanese K-Pop band called XG.
Where?
At Wembley Stadium for Capital's Summertime Ball 🤩
The next day I photographed them again.
Where?
At Abbey Road Studios 🤩
Got a tour of Studio 2, the Beatles studio, and Studio 1, where they recorded Star Wars (amongst many other film scores!)
And one of my photos is on the front cover of next month's edition of Dork music magazine (and two pics inside!).
Yes.
Quite a week 😮😄🥳
