111K followers sounded a lot more glamorous in my head. 😂

I’m genuinely so grateful for this community and everything social media has brought me — but having a big following and having a thriving business are two VERY different things.

So here’s the less glamorous side nobody puts in the “social media changed my life” carousel. 😂

If you’re a fellow creative trying to turn followers into actual clients… I see you. 🫶🏼

And if you’ve ever thought “she has 111K, she definitely doesn’t need another booking”…

Raw: BUT…

I actually love my raw images. I’m just incapable of leaving anything alone.

Give me a perfectly good photo and I’ll immediately start thinking:
“Okay but what if we pushed this a little further?”
…and then 47 layers later, here we are.

I like the raw.
I just like fu***ng with it more. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Some sets just deserve to be shouted into the world like:

HEY. I TOOK THESE. 😭😂

And yeah… I’m ridiculously proud of this one.

Daytime cinematic vibes, Emma being stunning as ever, a mix of lenses, angles, colour + B&W… basically throwing everything I love into one shoot and somehow making it work. 😂

There are those rare shoots where you look back at the images and think, yep… this one hit.

So here I am, shamelessly appreciating my own work for a minute. 😂

Epic shoot. Epic human. Very happy photographer. 🖤

And Instagram… the only fu***ng update we need is the ability to mix different crops/sizes in one carousel. AND YOU STILL WON’T GIVE IT TO US. 😭

I’m not against AI as a tool.

If it helps remove distractions, speeds up boring tasks, or makes editing more efficient? Cool.

I’m talking about fully AI-generated “photography.”

Those can f**k off.

Photography is more than the final image. It’s the idea, the planning, finding the location, directing someone, shaping the light, waiting for the right moment, making mistakes, trying again, and spending years learning the craft.

Typing a prompt isn’t the same thing.

If I had one wish, I’d make fully AI-generated images disappear tomorrow. Sorry, not sorry. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Back from holiday mode 🌊✨ (although my mind is still somewhere on a boat 😂)

Before the holiday I was super busy with work, so I’m finally getting back to posting, creating and sharing again. I’ve got some exciting projects coming up and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on 🤍

Now I’m just trying to figure out how people manage to stay on holiday forever… if anyone has found the secret, please share 😂🌴

A little peek into what’s coming on the 24th ✨

I’ve always believed that great portraits aren’t just about having the “right” camera settings - they’re about understanding light, connection, direction and knowing how to bring a person to life in front of the lens.

I’ll be spending the day talking portraits, lighting, creative choices (and probably overcomplicating things with a few unnecessary effects 😂) with some amazing photographers.

Expect conversations, hands-on shooting, experimenting with light and a lot of “wait… that actually works?!” moments.

Can’t wait to create, share and geek out about portrait photography with you all 📸✨
