North-east based dog photographer providing studio and outdoor portraits of your treasured pet Hello, I'm Gayle and thank you for visiting my page.
(1)

I’m a passionate dog photographer, proud dog owner, and all-around dog lover based in County Durham. I specialise in capturing the unique personalities of dogs in my studio, creating stunning portraits that showcase their character and charm. I love meeting dogs and hearing their stories. If you're like me, you believe that our dogs are so much more than just pets—they each have their own personalities, quirks, and special place in our hearts. But time moves far too quickly. Playful puppies grow into wise old souls, and one day, all we have left are the memories. Phone snaps are lovely, but they often miss the sparkle in their eyes or the little quirks that make them so special. My goal is to celebrate that through beautiful, timeless photography, and I can't wait to meet yours.

I had a lovely time a few weeks ago with the gorgeous Poppy & Bagel and their lovely owners!

The two of them had great fun exploring Woofs at Castle Croft , taking in all the sniffs and being totally fearless!

I don't often change my dog photographs to black and white, but I think it really works with this image and captures their two personalities perfectly.

I've included the colour version too. Which do you prefer, colour or black and white? 🐾

Oh my gosh, it is grim out there. Maisie is definitely not going to be impressed when we go out, but go out we have to! Stay safe in the storms this weekend folks ☔️

What a fabulous day in Sheffield this week! 🐴📸

I travelled down to Sheffield for a fantastic equine photography workshop with the very talented Pandora, Pandora Images Photography.

It was a jam-packed day, starting at a local racing stables where we photographed racehorses being exercised, before getting the chance to capture them being washed down afterwards.

We then headed to a beautiful woodland location with a stream, where we had the opportunity to photograph a number of horses and riders in different settings, with the autumn colours providing the perfect backdrop.

A huge thank you to all the riders and helpers who gave up their time to make the day possible. It was lovely meeting you all, and your horses were absolutely amazing!

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, learnt lots and came away with some images I'm really pleased with (lots more to edit!).

I think you'll agree, the horses and their riders look fabulous! ❤️🐴

What a lovely start to the weekend — a 5-star review from Dave! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s always a slightly nerve-racking moment showing a client their finished images. What will they think? Will they love them? So it’s always lovely to receive such wonderful feedback afterwards.

Dave received Pepper’s portrait session as a Christmas present, and Pepper was just the sweetest little dog to photograph. It was an absolute pleasure capturing her personality.

Dave very kindly left this lovely review:

“A fantastic experience. Gayle is totally professional throughout and knows how to get the best results. It was a pleasure watching her work and, as you can see by my photographs, I love these photographs and would recommend Gayle to anyone so that you can also relish in this experience.”

Thank you so much, Dave. I’m so pleased you love your photographs of the gorgeous Pepper.
