Tigz Rice is a UK based Bo***ir & Personal Branding Photographer, who helps fearless humans re-connect with their bodies & feel empowered, confident & unapologetically present in both their personal and professional adventures. Combining luxury editorial photography with her own signature style of retouching, Tigz has been helping her clients level up their digital visibility since 2009, providing

a portfolio of beautiful images that perfectly portrays their unique personality, style and values. Tigz has always been an outgoing person, but finding the confidence to be her true, authentic self in a world of cultural and media-led body standards has been an incredible journey. After being bullied as a child for being slightly overweight, spending her late teens waging a war against a beautiful athletic body trying to make it fit within a BMI chart, by her mid 20’s she decided enough was enough. Since then, she’s learned to love her body, embracing her killer curves and strong, powerful legs. Now, the only standards she is required to meet are the ones she sets herself. Consistently pushing creative boundaries wherever possible, Tigz focuses on fearless femme strength and loves to challenge the male gaze in both her private and commercial photography. In 2016, she photographed a lingerie campaign for Scantilly that was described by the Huffington Post as ‘one of the world’s most inclusive underwear campaigns’. In 2017 Tigz was voted the world’s leading female burlesque photographer in 21st Century Burlesque’s Burlesque Top 50. And in 2021, Tigz was named as one of Digital Women's Top 40 Digital Women To Watch, making the shortlist for Digital Woman of the Year. Tigz is also an award-winning author, with her book STRIP/TEASE - documenting a decade of work within the burlesque community - winning bronze in the 2020 IPPY Independent Publishing Awards. When she’s not behind the camera, Tigz enjoys travelling the world, learning as many languages as possible and collecting more lingerie than her wardrobe has space for.

Being 'photogenic' is about how you feel, gorgeous.

When you feel confident, it shows.

When you feel celebrated, it radiates.

When you feel safe to be yourself, that's when the real magic happens.

This is what I create in every session.

A safe space for you to be the most empowered version of yourself.

"I had such a fun day with Tigz. I booked the day off work and had a lovely morning doing my hair and makeup, not being in a rush like I usually am so I felt glamorous, relaxed and ready. When Tigz arrived I showed her some ideas/outfits I had and she directed me the whole way through. She was so professional, patient and helped me with outfit changes etc as mumma couldn't bend down to put the heels on haha. It's incredible that she just knows how to position you to get such great shots and your best angles. To be honest, putting on weight being pregnant has been hard for me. Obviously, I know I'm growing a baby, but I have always been self-conscious about my weight and looks. Strangely, this is probably the biggest I have been but the most confident. I've had a change of heart as I know my body is doing something incredible and it's made me realise there are just way more important things in life and I love the photos of my big bump and bigger curves." - Bea

Your body is doing something incredible right now, gorgeous.

That deserves celebration ✨

These images are for your future self, gorgeous.

One day, you'll look back and remember exactly how you felt in the moment.

The strength you held.

The beauty you carried.

The person you were becoming when the shoot happened.

That's why we create them.

What’s one thing you wish people knew about you… without you having to explain it first?

Maybe it’s that you’re trying your best.

Maybe it’s that you’re softer than people assume.

Maybe it’s that being “strong” came from survival, not choice.

Maybe it’s:

“I’m tired.”

“I’m sensitive.”

“I need reassurance sometimes.”

“I care more deeply than I know how to say.”

We spend so much of our lives being perceived, but not always understood.

And honestly?

I think a lot of people are quietly walking around hoping someone notices the things they don’t quite have the words for yet.

So I’ll go first:

I wish people knew that if you're seeing my resting bitch face...

It means I'm not masking around you and I feel safe.
