Day 6

The Tiger Who Came to Tea

This was my second foster cat, but I ended up sending him to another foster family after just one week.

I was so excited to collect him from Central London after a photoshoot. As soon as he arrived at my home, he didn’t hide at all—obviously, he wasn’t a shy character!

He showed a huge interest in human food and always left some of his cat food behind. Every time I prepared a meal, or even opened a plastic bag, this little tiger would immediately appear on the countertop to investigate. One evening, while I was preparing dinner, he jumped onto the counter and tried to lick the ingredients.

Maybe I looked too kind, because when I tried to push him off, he sometimes swiped at me. It was the first time I had ever felt so stressed living with a cat.

After a week, I realised that we weren’t the right match, so he went to another foster family.

And that was the real story of the tiger who came to tea.

I don’t want to ignore that inner voice challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone.

This was my first time trying a fashionable editorial style, giving me the opportunity to experiment with techniques I don’t usually use in family photoshoots.

My 1-hour package includes 30+ photos, and honestly, I always tend to overdeliver because there are just so many cute images that I can’t leave behind.

But this time, I was only hoping to get 5 successful images. Luckily, I ended up with 10 that I’m happy to share here. ✨

An Ordinary Summer Holiday

We spent the afternoon with our friends. The two boys happily played in the playground for two hours while the adults sat in the shade, chatting.

獨自在National Gallery逛
欣賞畫作還有建築物本身就很華麗
想嘗試跟自已風格不一樣的取景
拍著拍著
還是用設計師強迫症角度來拍攝
看看之後再隨性一點會不會拍出垃圾

I actually finished editing the photos yesterday, but I just didn't have time to arrange the layout and prepare the post.

Shooting photos – 1 hour
Selecting and editing photos – 1 hour
Preparing the post – 1 hour

I wandered around the National Gallery on my own, appreciating both the paintings and the stunning architecture.

I wanted to try composing shots that were different from my usual style, but somehow, as I kept taking photos, I still ended up framing everything with my designer's perfectionist eye.

Maybe next time I'll try to be a little more spontaneous... though I might just end up taking terrible photos. 😆

Before I started photographing people, I fell in love with photographing places.

This was my first time shooting in Kensington Palace Gardens, and this beautiful daisy field completely stole my heart. I can't wait to create more stories in London.

我以往喜歡拍風景，多得客人預約，令我可以仔細探索倫敦的角落。我和家人有在秋冬時到遊覽過Kensington Gardens，但就是第一次在這邊拍人像，一大遍小白花田正在盛放，還有各種顏色的野花，給我很大的驚喜！

Every year, I find myself returning to the Rose Garden in Regent's Park. 🌹

No matter how many times I visit, the roses never feel the same. The light changes, the blooms are different, and every season tells its own quiet story.

Flowers are fleeting, which is why I always encourage my clients to plan seasonal sessions while they're at their peak. A week can make all the difference.
