Ese momento justo antes del disparo, cuando todo se detiene y lo que buscabas aparece frente a tus ojos.

No necesitás ser fotógrafo ni tener una gran cámara. Con tu celular alcanza. Yo viajo con vos y te enseño a mirar.

Vos solo tenés que estar. Del aeropuerto al último atardecer, nos ocupamos de todo.

🌾 Ngorongoro: un cráter que es un mundo aparte, donde hasta una hiena se tira panza arriba a tomar sol.
🦒 Serengeti: un día entero buscando a los Cinco Grandes, de amanecer a atardecer.

7 días, grupos chicos, guía en español e inglés, pensión completa y toda la logística resuelta. Vos solo tenés que mirar, con cámara o con el celular. Yo te enseño cómo.

Una calle angosta en Suecia.

Un retrato en Ciudad del Cabo.
Un mercado en Arusha.
Un leopardo que me miró una sola vez en el Serengeti.

Cambia el lugar, pero lo que busco es siempre lo mismo: ese instante en el que el alma se hace forma frente a mis ojos. Sin pose, sin guion, tal como es.

Some portraits are found among fossils. 🦴

In Cape Town I had the privilege of photographing Professor Anusuya Chinsamy-Turan, a palaeobiologist at the University of Cape Town who has spent decades studying the microstructure of bones to understand extinct animals.

Today, that portrait accompanies her profile in Nature Africa: “Every fossil bone is amazing.” 🙌

I didn’t ask her to pose. I asked her to show me her work, and this is how she did it: hands full of history, and that smile.

Un mismo safari. Dos maneras de vivirlo. 🐒

🌿 **Vida salvaje:** para quienes sueñan con el Serengeti, el Ngorongoro y Tarangire, y quieren vivirlo sin pensar en nada más. La foto, si querés, la sacás vos o la s**o yo.

📸 **Fotografía:** para quienes quieren aprender a ver el instante. Vamos más despacio, te acompaño según tu nivel y al final del día miramos y editamos juntos tus fotos, aunque sean del celular.

Las dos opciones tienen la logística resuelta, grupos chicos y programas de 5, 7 o 10 días.

Esto no es una escena armada para turistas. Es un día cualquiera en el mercado de Kilombero, en Arusha.

Bolsas de arroz con el precio escrito a mano. Montañas de tomates, especias, cucharones colgando. Un carnicero que se ríe cuando ve la cámara. Manos que trabajan el metal desde temprano.

Fui solo con mi iPhone. No le pedí a nadie que posara: caminé, miré y esperé el instante.

Eso es la fotografía documental. Y eso es lo que vas a vivir si venís conmigo a Tanzania: los parques, sí, pero también la vida de todos los días.

This isn't a scene staged for tourists. It's an ordinary day at Kilombero market in Arusha.

Bags of rice with hand-written prices. Mountains of tomatoes, spices, ladles hanging overhead. A butcher who laughs when he sees the camera. Hands working metal since early morning.

I only had my iPhone. I didn't ask anyone to pose: I walked, I watched, and I waited for the instant.

That's documentary photography. And that's what you'll experience if you come with me to Tanzania: the parks, yes, but also everyday life.
