Why some couples look effortlessly natural in photos? And It isn’t because they’re “photogenic”.

It starts long before I pick up my camera.
We begin with a relaxed video call where I take time to get to know you, your personalities, your dynamic, how you naturally connect, and what makes you feel at ease.

Good direction isn’t about giving every couple the same poses. It’s about understanding who you are together. Building trust through communication, and knowing when to guide you and when to let things unfold.

During your engagement session, we have the space to find that rhythm together. I’ll give you simple prompts and movement, so your attention stays on each other.

By the time your wedding day arrives, being photographed already feels familiar. You already know me and already know you.

That ease you see in the photographs? We started creating it long before I pressed the shutter 📸

L & J engagement session in London.

Most couples think having a camera around is going to feel a little awkward. L & J thought so too.

But when we sat down for their photo reveal, they described the experience in a way that stayed with me: “It felt like nobody was watching.”

And that is always the intention. A little direction when you need it. Space when you don’t.

To move, to play, to slow down, and eventually… forget about the camera altogether.

Because somewhere in between the gently guided and the completely unscripted are the moments that feel most like you.

The way you move together, and how you look at each other when no one’s watching.

4 years walking with God today 🤍

And 4 truths about His character and His love for me that I constantly return to, because remembering is part of living… and living in abundance.

• Nothing is lacking. Even when life feels dark, I do not have to fear, because He is with me. Easier said than done… sometimes I still panic 😅 Psalm 23

• I’m deeply loved. Jesus died and rose again for me ❤️‍🔥

And guess what? You are too.

For a long time, I thought healing meant becoming someone else.

Now I know it’s actually returning to who God created me to be.

And this is the place from which I create now.

Not from performance.
Not from survival.
Not from needing to prove my worth.

But from presence.
From love.
From peace.
From connection.

It shapes the way I photograph people, the way I guide them, and the kind of space I want others to experience through my work: safe, seen, at ease, and fully themselves.

The most meaningful moments happen when we stop performing and start truly being present.
