Before we get to today’s new Maisy episodes, we wanted to give a shout out to some of our brilliant Maisy experts at team Karrot!
Anh Cao did such an amazing job as Art Director, leading her team in expanding the world of Maisy & her friends! All while staying true to the painterly look of Lucy Cousins’ wonderful art and keeping the clarity, simplicity and warmth of the original style across the series. It’s a mighty achievement!
Zoran Jankovic, through his animation direction, helped steer the team to embrace the small moments in the stories. To celebrate a wiggly toe or tail, to embrace each personality and to really feel the minds inside the characters!
These are important elements that make the show feel so magical and that magic is made possible by the expertise and passion from all the teams involved. From the Writers, Stoyboarders, Designers, Riggers, Layout, Animators, Production & Comp teams, across all the studios. All striving to make My Friend Maisy a wonderful show to remember!
Well done to all the leads and their teams across the whole production for truly knocking it out of the park! You should all be very proud!
