My gift to Imogen & V.

The entire story of their day told on a single roll of medium format film. The first time I'd taken this beautiful 50 year old camera to a wedding.

I planned out 12 frames and noted them down, ticking them off as I went, ensuring every milestone moment was documented. I promised myself I would share every one, in order, whether successful or not. Turns out I love them all.

The result of generous artistic freedom, permission to experiment and the loving patience, time and space to observe and create intentionally. Especially humbling when that wholehearted trust is from such talented fellow creatives.

This one was truly special. I am so proud and grateful to have witnessed and documented the start of Nathan & Matthew's forever in one of their favourite cities in the world.

Through each element of their planning, their priority and focus was on the guest experience, ensuring the most incredible time imaginable for their loved ones during their trip to London from across the pond.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered and curated and executed to perfection by Team Katrina Otter and their carefully hand-picked vendors.

I spent 5 separate fabulous days with Nathan and Matthew in total, really getting to know them (and Matt's gloriously extensive sweater collection).

Here are some of my favourite frames from across 4 of those for now: the sunrise engagement shoot, the welcome party, the open top London bus tour and the farewell brunch.

Documenting the 'quieter' moments surrounding their main event was not only the perfect way to preserve the memories of the entire story for them, but also allowed Nathan & Matthew and their wonderful families over from NYC for the trip of a lifetime, to feel totally relaxed and at ease with me and my camera.

It was an honour to be invited with such trust and warmth into their inner circle and the whole celebration will go down as one of the most beautifully organic, sincere and especially thoughtful I've captured and will never ever forget.

One from the archives.

Tomorrow will be the first of four days back to back celebrating with Nathan & Matthew and all their loved ones from New York so I've been reminiscing fondly on Christie & Loretis' incredible day at The Nomad this time two years ago, which is where we'll be spending this Saturday with team running the show.

It's amazing how your favourite frames can change every time you look back through a collection. Especially as time passes and life changes!

This set is an eclectic mix of digital and film, colour and black and white, chaos and calm. The energy and emotion was so special.

Looking forward to returning with a whole new perspective!
