Roupell.
One of my favourite neighbourhoods - a little pocket of small townhouses surprisingly close to Waterloo and the heart of London - yet it feels like you are transported back to the 1950s.
Whenever I happen by, it always inspires me to take pictures - and so I decided to visit more and dedicate a new project to this unique little area.

Monument Appreciacion Society.
One of the regular Londoner traits is a slight disdain for the "touristy bits" of the city - often overcrowded and overpriced. Yet it is a good reminder every once in a while why they are popular - our beloved city hosts some brilliant landmarks that attract the attention - even if you've seen it a million times.
Exhibit A - the Elizabeth Tower (often mistakenly called Big Ben - which is actually the name of the bell that lives in it).

Lights and Contours - nighttime scenes around Covent Garden.
Looking back at shorter days and cold nighttime photography - almost feels refreshing in the summer heat and long days. Whilst I definitely don't mind the plenty of sunshine, there is also something magical about those nights and the plenty of unique pockets of lights.
There is something to photograph in every season in London.

A symphony of window blinds.
Rows and rows of window blinds in the Barbican, all in different angles - almost like musical notes on sheet music.
I wonder if they would actually form something melodic - or just a cacophony of sound. I guess either way it would be fitting for the place.
