What an incredible day! 😍

Katie & Matt had a beautiful outdoor ceremony yesterday, with blue skies and bright sunshine. The day was an absolute dream from start to finish - everyone was so much fun to be around, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to spend the day with. 🥰

Also, it's not everyday that the wedding car is one that the couple themselves have restored together, pretty much from the ground up. So yes, the MR2 had it's own little photoshoot too... 😎

What a day yesterday! 😍

Dionne and Lloyd celebrated their perfect day surrounded by their closest friends and family, and the love for this pair from everyone was clear to see... I'm still getting over some of those speeches. 🥲

Everyone was so lovely to be around, and I even managed to enlist their 4 year-old daughter Thea as my assistant for a large part of the day! Actually, I think she may have enlisted ME...🥰😂

As so often happens, despite glorious weather for most of the day, clouds started to gather on the horizon and my hopes of a golden hour looked like they might be disappearing... but I never give up! 😎

With only about 10 minutes to spare, the sun broke through just above the horizon, giving us just enough time to nip outside and create these beautiful backlit portraits of Sam & Beth before the light disappeared. 😍

I'm normally holding a camera to capture other people's memories, so last week we spent some time making a few of our own! 🥰

This was our first proper family holiday in around ten years, and the first time we've ever taken Lizzie away for a full week. Normally we're lucky if we can squeeze in a long weekend or a Monday-to-Friday break, so we wanted to make this one count... and there seemed no better place than Cornwall!

It was so much fun revisiting some of our favourite places with our favourite little person, and I've no doubt that some of her core memories will come from this trip. Staying at Kynance Cove until sunset, before packing up all our stuff and carrying it back across the beach and up to the car park in the dark, will probably be one of them! 😂

We're already planning next year, but for now it's back to reality.

When you're getting married in Bath, there are so many amazing locations for your couples portraits it can be hard to choose... but luckily, you don't need to go very far! The Guildhall is a spectacular building, so when you're surrounded by Georgian architecture this pretty, it would be rude to not make the most of it! 🥰
