One minute they’re learning to sit and before you know it they’re blowing out their first candle.

Capturing these milestones is one of my favourite parts of this job - preserving the little details we wish we could freeze forever.

One of the reasons I love working with children is that they see the world completely differently. They notice things we overlook. They ask questions that stop you in your tracks. Questions that are funny, clever and sometimes surprisingly deep.

Do sharks celebrate birthdays?! 👀

Children remind us that curiosity doesn’t need a purpose. Not everything has to be rushed, explained, or figured out. Sometimes it’s enough to wonder.

And honestly, some of the best conversations I’ve ever had have happened during a photo session with a child.

After everything life had already written for them, they still found each other ♡

Yesterday was full of laughter, children running around, happy tears, a murder mystery, pizza by the sea and so much love - but I absolutely loved this quiet little moment that belonged only to them.

Mums often worry - what if the baby cries?

Spoiler: they’ll still look gorgeous and your love will shine through in every photo. You can feed them and yes… I’ll probably be talking about food too 🫣😂 Because these sessions are more than just photos - they’re about your family, your connection and the little moments that make it real.

You’re my guests and this is your safe space to be your amazing, real selves - laughing, cuddling, crying, feeding… all of it. Every emotion will be captured, because love always shows, whether it’s a smile, a yawn or a little tear. And honestly? Those moments are some of my favorite to photograph.

She arrived feeling like everything was a bit chaotic - baby feeding constantly, a busy toddler, no real plan…
and that quiet thought of “maybe this isn’t the right time”.

But honestly, this is exactly the right time.

Afterwards she sent me this:
“Even when you turn up with cluster feeding baby, hyper toddler, majorly postpartum and completely disorganised, you can still find the beauty.” 🥹

I feel so honoured to be trusted to capture days like this!

No perfect moments needed.
Just real life, as it is.
