There’s something about a real photograph that AI simply can’t replace.

A real expression.
A real presence.
The way you naturally look when you feel confident in front of the camera.

That’s exactly what we want to create in our studio.

When you come to us for a headshot, our goal isn’t to turn you into someone else or create a “perfect” version of you.

It’s to show you as you are - confident, comfortable and completely yourself.

Because your professional image should still feel like you.

Whether it’s for LinkedIn, your website, social media, your business or simply because you want a photograph that represents you honestly-there is something incredibly valuable about having a real photographer see you, guide you and capture the person behind the image.

AI can create an image.

But it can’t recreate the experience of being photographed.
The direction.
The connection.
The little moment when you see the final image and think:

How many people can you fit into one family photograph? 🤍

Well… quite a few!

We know how precious family photographs become over the years. The people who mean the most to you, all together, in one frame - grandparents, parents, children, siblings, cousins, partners… and yes, even the four-legged members of the family. 🐾

Our studio can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people, and these photographs are proof that big families can absolutely have beautiful, timeless studio portraits too.

Because there really is no such thing as too many people when it comes to family photographs.

Big family. Big love. One beautiful photograph to keep forever. 🤍

And who knows… maybe one day we’ll have to test the 20-person limit! 😉

There’s been a while since I introduced the woman behind Karolina Kotkiewicz | Timeless Wedding Photographer | -and with some lovely new faces here, I thought it was time to say hello again. 🤍

I’m Karolina. I’ve been photographing weddings for 16 years, and if I had to choose just one word for what weddings mean to me, it would be feeling.

The anticipation. The chaos. The happy tears. The ridiculous laughter. The quiet moments. The people you love all in one place.

That’s what I want to photograph.

Weddings, with feeling.
Documentary at heart. Editorial in spirit.

I love the honesty of documentary photography, but I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and intention of fashion and editorial imagery too. The beautiful light. The movement. The composition. The little moments that could almost belong on the pages of a magazine.

For me, the perfect wedding gallery lives somewhere between the two -real, emotional and completely yours, but with that refined, editorial feel.

And luxury?

I’ve never really thought of luxury as something you can buy.

Luxury, for me, is feeling life.

The kind of life that is full of people you love, beautiful places, loud laughter, quiet moments and memories you’ll want to return to years from now.

I was born in Poland and have called Scotland home for 24 years. Somewhere along the way, I created my own wee life here with my daughter and my partner in crime -who you’ll often spot behind the scenes at weddings too. 🤍

Then there’s Pixel, my very cute editing assistant, who contributes absolutely nothing to the actual editing process. 🐶

I love travelling, sport, chocolate and ice cream probably more than is sensible.

And honestly, wedding photography might be the perfect job for my ADHD brain.

Constant movement. Constant adrenaline. No two days the same. Something unexpected always happening. And a brain that is very happy to go:

Right. Okay. What’s the plan now?

Sixteen years in, I still feel incredibly lucky that this is my job.

When a family full of boys welcomes a little girl… 💕✨

She arrives with tiny fingers, a whole lot of sweetness, and somehow manages to soften the edges of a busy, beautiful life.

This little girl has already brought so much joy to her family, and I have a feeling she’s going to be very, very loved by her two big brothers. 🤍

I love photographing a family as it grows, and even more love when that family keeps coming back to me to capture each new chapter.

I’m forever grateful for these beautiful people, for their trust, and for letting me photograph their family again and again.

Welcome to the world, little girl. You are already so loved. 🌸
