Be aware of companies out there charging £300 to 500 for your yearly service read this advert that i saw to day from a few company out there flooding emails

“included the following in the service of your aircraft:”

1 Visual inspection just looking at it lol
2 Firmware update checking that you are on latest firmware the drone does this itself
3 Compass / IMU Calibration take yourself 2 min and you shpuld know how to do it anyway
4 Report on recommendation for parts tell you if it is broken and need repair after visual inspection
5 Collection and re-delivery
6 Perform battery check lol check if battery charging.

£300 to 500 depending on drone .

They do not open the drone to check internally for condition .
They do not even test fly it .
They do not replace main serviceable components.
So is like you taking your car for service they just look at it tell you there is a scratch or a dent on the wheel trims and charge you £500 for telling you so .
Absolutely ridiculous!

At Scotland unmanned your drone is open and inspected internally for any degradation due to moisture or temperatures , cleaned internally with isopropyl alcohol and cleaned of any dust and debris .
At this point we replace serviceable parts that are vital for the good running of your drone and the old part will be return to you to show we have open and actually serviced your drone .
We then carry out bench test and outdoor test fly and finally clean your drone and remote with antibacterial spray.
All your battery are checked and lifecycle recorded on our database with your drone profile .
