Beautiful 4 digit casting frame of Elicia 🥰🥰🥰 love this new colour shiny taupe I have, not had one paired with a gold plaque before (most people pick a silver plaque) but it really suits it!

Aria has come back into the studio for her second photo shoot as part of her ‘Watch Me Grow’ package.

She’s now sitting up!

Been doing lots of casting frames this month!

This one is an impression frame is of baby Joshua at 12 months old. His big sister, Charlotte, came in a few years ago now when she was also 12 months old, to do one too so I’ve made his frame exactly the same as hers for mum to have next to each other in the wall. Can you see much difference? Think his impressions are larger what do you think?

Frame for the lovely .mc_x of baby Laine.

Little bit of behind the scenes… after the moulding of baby’s hand and feet phase I pour the plaster in the moulds and end up with lovely white plaster digits.
After these are dry, which takes about a week, I paint a few coats of paint of the clients choice onto them, in this case making them an italic silver.
When these coats of paints have dried, this is usually overnight, it is now time to mount the casts in their frame and put it all together with plaques and another undermount, so that it’s finally finished…

This frame is a bit different from my usual casting frame design as mum asked me to copy a frame she’d had made for an older sibling by another business a few years ago.
