‼️‼️ I had never dreamed of becoming a photographer📸📸
At 33, with three children, endless household routines, and all the worries that come with motherhood, I was trying to find a way out—to rediscover myself and build something of my own that could also bring me an income.
Because I had recently moved to Liverpool, it was difficult to find my place or commit to anything. Then I decided to take an online photography course—a completely new profession for me and something I had never imagined myself doing.
I had never dreamed of becoming a photographer. Even during my first course, I did not fully understand what I had got myself into—or why. During our Zoom meetings, it seemed as though everyone knew something while I knew absolutely nothing. I was often too embarrassed to ask questions.
Because I was not sure I would ever earn money from photography, I tried to save money and invested in the wrong equipment. There were tears, countless prayers, sleepless nights, and thousands of photographs that I struggled to edit.
Today, I am incredibly grateful that I did not give up during the difficult moments. I kept searching for answers and found the right people—people who were more experienced than me and willing to share their knowledge.
Photography is a journey that never truly ends. There is always something new to learn, discover, and create. I am proud of how far I have come, and I thank God for giving me the strength to keep going.
If you are at the beginning of your own journey, do not give up—sometimes the hardest paths lead us exactly where we are meant to be.
