Looking back at this gorgeous outdoor family session from last year at one of my favourite local parks. 🌿🤍

These are the moments I love capturing most, genuine smiles, cuddles, laughter, and the connections that make every family unique. No stiff posing, just time spent together while I document the memories as they unfold.

It's amazing how quickly little ones grow and change. Looking through sessions like this is a reminder of just how important it is to get in the photos and preserve these chapters of family life before they become memories.

Sadly, unless I manage to find another field, Poppy Sessions won't be happening this year. 🌺

My usual poppy field appears to have been rotated this season (or perhaps the farmer is giving it a well-earned break!), which means there are no poppies there this year.

I'll still keep searching and holding onto a little hope, but for now I wanted to share a few beautiful memories from last year's sessions. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined me among the poppies in previous years they have always been some of my favourite sessions to capture.

Fingers crossed the field returns next year, and if it does, I'll be there with my camera ready! 📸✨

A throwback to last year's session 💜

The beautiful lavender fields will soon be bursting into bloom, creating the most dreamy backdrop for family, maternity, couples, and children's portraits. With golden evening light, gorgeous purple tones, and the scent of fresh lavender in the air, these sessions are always magical.

Lavender sessions will be returning at the end of June, and I can't wait to be back amongst the rows capturing beautiful memories for my lovely clients.

A beautiful morning spent amongst the wildflowers celebrating the sweetest little girl. 💛

Lily was full of cuddles, and curiosity as she explored the meadow and showed off her giant number 3 balloon. These are the moments that deserve to be remembered, the little giggles, the tiny hands, and the joy of being three years old. ✨

I've added a new piece of kit to my camera bag that I like to call my camera's "sunglasses!" ☀️📷

For outdoor sessions, especially on bright sunny days, this filter helps reduce glare, cut through haze, and bring back richer colours and deeper blue skies. It can make a huge difference when shooting in strong daylight, helping your images look more natural and vibrant straight out of camera.

The photo below shows just how much of a difference it can make. less washed out, more colour, more contrast, and more detail in the sky! 🌤️✨

It's just one more way I'm working to give my families the best possible images, whatever the British weather decides to do! 💛
