Day one of two, what an incredible full-on day- how Emma and Nayan and their guests found the energy to do it all again the next morning, I’ll never know.

Set in the stunning ballroom of Winstanley House, this Hindu ceremony was filled with colour, noise, and joy. It was gorgeous watching the two families come together, the day began with the groom’s grand arrival... dhol drums and a crazily lively buzz.

I love Hindu weddings for this exact reason. The priest led with such energy, spot-on in his delivery- and all while that was going on, Sarita quietly painted the couple throughout the ceremony, the result was magic.

Days like this are such a beautiful reminder that every wedding tells its own story, and this one had so much heart in it. ♥️

Two hours, plenty of laughter and a whole lot of history.

Lauren and Lewis hadn’t planned on having a wedding photographer, but Lauren’s mum felt differently.
She booked me for just two hours, so their ceremony and the time surrounding it wouldn’t go undocumented. And I’m so glad she did.

Last Thursday, I joined them and a handful of their favourite people at Leicester Guildhall. Before this month, I’d never photographed a wedding there, and now it’s been twice in two weeks. Funny how that happens.
There are centuries of stories in that building, and now Lauren and Lewis are part of it too.

They loved having me there and, thankfully, they love what they’ve seen so far. It feels rather lovely knowing they now have photographs from a day they hadn’t originally planned to have photographed. ❤️

I love a full wedding day and everything that comes with it, but if you’re planning something smaller and only want part of your day covered, I offer that too.

Three days. Two ceremonies. One gorgeous wedding.

From their pre-wedding celebrations to a wonderfully colourful Hindu ceremony, followed by their civil wedding the next day at Winstanley House Emma and Nayan smashed their wedding celebrations!

I’ve been sitting on these for far too long, so here’s a little glimpse of it all. I’ll be sharing each part properly very soon … there’s far too much good stuff not to!

Well, this was a LOT of fun.

I joined Elle and Matt for their after-wedding party at Waltham on the Wolds Village Hall … and what a celebration it was.
Brilliant speeches, lots of mingling, street-food vans, a little time running around on the scorched grass outside (a sight that will take us all straight back to the summer of 2026) followed by a proper full-on ceilidh.
The whole evening was full of warmth, laughter and people having the absolute best time. Honestly, I could have stayed so much longer with this lovely pair and their brilliant friends and family.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that this is actually my job … being there for some of the happiest moments in people’s lives and giving them the photographs that will take them straight back.

Not bad for a Saturday night, really 🤍✨

A little Winstanley House flashback. 🤍

These photos are from a stunning wedding I photographed there last year, and tomorrow I’m heading back to shoot another one- this time a two day celebration.

It’s such a delight to have a venue this beautiful so close to home, and I’m especially explore new spaces after its recent refurbishment.

So for today, a little look back at this gorgeous day from last year . . . and tomorrow, I get to do it all over again! 😍

When someone you’ve known for years asks you to photograph their wedding, it means a lot.

On Thursday, I had the absolute privilege of photographing Kat and Tom’s wedding.
Kat was at primary school with my eldest daughter, so I’ve known her since she was a little girl. When she got in touch a year ago to ask if I’d photograph her wedding, I genuinely felt so honoured.
Fast forward to this week, and there she was, marrying Tom in the beautiful Guildhall in Leicester before celebrating with family and friends at Wyggeston House. It was emotional, relaxed, full of laughter, and such a joy to be part of.
These are just a few sneak peeks from their day, but already they tell such a gorgeous story.

Kat and Tom, thank you for trusting me with your memories. It was a real honour to be there and to tell the story of this special chapter of your lives. I can’t wait to show you the rest. 🤍

One of my favourite things about photographing weddings is knowing that the moments you’ll treasure most are rarely the ones you planned.
They’re the little glances. The burst of laughter. The way someone looks at you when they think nobody’s watching.
Monday’s wedding at Kilworth House Weddings was just three hours long, but that didn’t make it any less special. Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding or a full day celebration, every story deserves to be documented
A couple of days after I sent over a few sneak peeks, the bride messaged me this...

“Those are really great photos, you have a sneaky way of capturing things that matter, even when we did not know it would matter!!
You really are very good at what you do. Thank you.
I am now feeling v smug that it was I who selected our photographer and found you!”

I honestly don’t think I could ask for a lovelier message.

Because the moments that matter most are usually the ones you never even realised were happening. ✨

Today these two are getting married. 🤍holton .p.m

When we met for their pre-wedding shoot a few weeks ago, one of the first things they told me was that they were feeling really anxious about having their photo taken.
By the end of the session, those worries had disappeared.
Not because they’d suddenly learnt how to pose, but because they’d realised they didn’t need to.
My job isn’t to make people look like models. It’s to help them feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves.

That’s why I love pre-wedding shoots so much. They’re not really about the photographs (although that’s a lovely bonus). They’re about turning nerves into excitement before the wedding day even arrives.

I can’t wait to see you both later. Congratulations and enjoy every single second. ❤️

The thing I’ll remember most about Lauren & James’ wedding wasn’t the weather, the venue, or the details, although they were all pretty gorgeous … It was their energy. 💛

Some couples just radiate positivity, and these two did exactly that. They had their hearts set on an outdoor ceremony at and never once doubted it. Through all the unpredictable June weather, they stayed completely focused on what mattered most: getting married, celebrating with their favourite people, and enjoying every moment.

And it paid off. They got the beautiful outdoor ceremony they’d dreamed of, surrounded by love, laughter and their four wonderful children, who were an absolute joy all day.

Then came a story during the speeches that completely melted me. They married on Wednesday 3rd June because it was Lauren’s grandad’s birthday. Years ago, she’d said she wanted to get married on his birthday one day because he meant so much to her.

Yesterday, that wish came true.

What a lovely reminder that the most meaningful parts of a wedding are often the simplest ones. ✨
