Congratulations to the lovely L&J, who got married at The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate last week 🤍

This was such a beautifully personal wedding day, filled with thoughtful touches, lots of fun and plenty of moments that were completely and uniquely them.

From the moment the day began, there was so much personality. The brides choir performed for guests before the ceremony and then sang during the ceremony, which was such a special way to start married life together.

And I love their story too… L&J met through speed dating! They immediately bonded over their shared love of a good quiz and, rather impressively, their individual appearances on TV’s Eggheads. Naturally, a specially arranged quiz had to feature on the wedding day before the party got started!

The ceremony took place on the terrace at The Sun Pavilion Harrogate, surrounded by bright, colourful sunflowers and hydrangeas, creating the most beautiful summer garden feel as L&J exchanged their vows.

Then came another surprise arranged by Leonie’s mum — Singing waiters! After the initial shock, they were such a brilliant addition to the celebrations and certainly got everyone ready for the party.

It was such a joy for us to capture all the laughter, surprises and little moments throughout the day in our natural, candid style.

Congratulations to H&D, who got married at the beautiful Woodsome Hall on Saturday 🤍

As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, I’m always reminded that you really can’t plan for the weather… but a little Yorkshire rain certainly didn’t detract from the gorgeousness of this day!

The beautiful 1930s wood-panelled interiors of Woodsome Hall made the cosiest retreat from the downpour outside, and created such a warm and elegant backdrop for the celebrations.

H&D wanted their wedding day to be all about celebrating with their boys, surrounded by friends and family, and most importantly, making sure everyone had the best time.

Stunning blush florals, the beautiful sounds of Quadraphonic String Quartet and Helen’s incredible dress set the tone for such an elegant start to the day. After so much joy during the ceremony and speeches, Helen’s outfit change — and her entrance by golf buggy (which I absolutely loved) — officially kicked off the party!

DJ and James on sax followed, and the dancefloor vibes did not disappoint.

The most beautiful sunset at Sandburn Hall for O&T 🤍

That golden evening light was something else. Soft, warm and catching the veil in all the right places.

Captured on both 35mm analogue film and digital, this little stretch of their day was an absolute dream to photograph. There’s something about the way film holds onto those warm tones and little details that feels particularly special at golden hour.

Wow. What a day this was for T&A in London!

From start to finish, this was such a stunning wedding, filled with incredible light, beautiful surroundings, so much personality and one hell of a party.

The day began in the penthouse, with amazing views across London and plenty of fun as the bridal and groom’s parties got ready and the party vibes started early.

T&A then had the loveliest moment meeting outside the cathedral before heading inside for their beautiful ceremony. After exchanging rings and taking part in the Stefana (crowning) ceremony, we were treated to the most gorgeous light streaming through the cathedral.

From there, we headed to The London Wildlife Trust at Camley Street, where the beautiful light continued. We captured some relaxed group photographs, plenty of fun and some completely natural moments that felt so perfect.

The first dance was interrupted by T&A’s first song! A perfect start to the evening. And then Jazzbomb took over… and the epic party carried on into the night.

Photography and film were a big part of T&A’s wedding day. They wanted to remember not only how beautiful everything looked, but the atmosphere, the laughter, the energy and all the fun too. James and I had such a brilliant time capturing it all for them in our candid style.

A beautiful Peak District wedding for L&J at Peak Edge Hotel 🤍

It’s always such an honour to be asked to photograph another photographer’s wedding, and I was especially honoured to have been asked to capture this one.

It was lovely to be back in the Peak District surrounded by water lilies, beautiful countryside and even a few very special four-legged guests.

The wedding preparations were lovely and relaxed and this was followed by the cutest arrival moment in the ceremony!

After Jon got over how stunning his bride looked (love this!) L&J exchanged vows they had written themselves before heading outside for confetti, photographs in the sunshine and the occasional shared bottle of w**e on a blanket - perfect!

The celebrations continued with plenty of fun on the dance floor before we were treated to the most incredible red sunset to finish off such a wonderful Peak District wedding.

Massive congratulations to E&L, who celebrated the most beautiful Yorkshire church & marquee wedding on Saturday, with celebrations ending at the stunning Priory Cottages and Barn. 🤍

Since she was a little girl, Ellen had always dreamed of walking through the gardens behind her parents’ home on her dad’s arm before getting married in the beautiful village church. As soon as they told me about their plans, I knew it was going to be a special day.

Lyell and the boys started the day exactly as they meant to go on - full of fun and dressed in beautiful tartan as a nod to Lyell’s Scottish heritage.

Knowing how much the gardens meant to Ellen, one of my favourite moments was walking back through them with E&L after the ceremony as they made their way to drinks in her parents’ garden.

The flowers from Wild Sweet Pea fitted the feel of the day perfectly. They were absolutely stunning, with a gorgeous butter yellow theme running throughout the flowers and details, bringing everything together beautifully.

Guests enjoyed the Yorkshire sunshine before everyone headed to Priory Cottages for the rest of the celebrations. The speeches struck the perfect balance between funny and heartfelt and resulted in more than a few joyful tears around the room.

As the evening unfolded, we were treated to the most beautiful light across the fields before City Wires got the party going and everyone headed inside to dance long into the night.

From beginning to end, this was a wedding full of family, fun and so many meaningful moments.

Huge congratulations to S & P, who tied the knot last week at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa in the most beautiful outdoor ceremony, surrounded by sunshine and their favourite people.

One very special guest stole plenty of hearts on the day... Rigby, the adorable best dog, looked incredibly smart in his little tuxedo as he proudly watched his humans say, “I do” beneath the rose arches.

Guests enjoyed glasses of Pimms in the sunshine before celebrating with confetti, speeches and a fantastic evening of fun and dancing.

We were also treated to the most gorgeous evening light, which gave us the perfect opportunity for a little walk around the grounds with S, P and, of course, Rigby before everyone headed inside to continue the celebrations.

Massive congratulations to A & Z, who celebrated the most gorgeous & fun wedding day last week 🤍

The day started with beautiful light during bridal preparations, and Anna looked absolutely stunning in her timeless dress.

After a perfect ceremony at The Venue, guests enjoyed drinks outside in the sunshine beside the pergola while Link Lewis brought all the party vibes!

On the wedding breakfast tables were personal letters to each guest, which set emotions running almost immediately!

One of my favourite moments of the day was A & Z sharing a spontaneous, quiet and beautiful dance together before the bridal party well and truly got the evening celebrations underway with some wonderfully unplanned dancing of their own.

After taking advantage of the gorgeous evening light by the lake, the party moved into full swing. A & Z and their family and friends were absolutely determined to make the most of every second on the dance floor 🤍

Massive congratulations to this lovely couple, and thank you so much for having me. What a day. I think you can really feel the energy, love and joy running through these photographs 🤍

A summer wedding at the Tithe Barn. Wow. What a day. 🤍

C&J wanted a wedding day surrounded by all their favourite people, with plenty of fun and I think you can really feel that 🤍

The morning started with bridal preparations, where Chloe looked incredible in her Sophia Tolli dress with the most gorgeous back detail. Over at Jamie’s, the boys were already bringing the fun, and there was a definite feeling that this was going to be one hell of a day.

The ceremony was full of smiles, little looks and those tiny in-between moments I love photographing. It all culminated in C&J dancing their way back down the aisle and getting the party started before they’d even left the room.

Then, after confetti, Jamie randomly proposed again. Because why not?! With beautiful Bolton Abbey in the background, it was one of those completely unexpected but gorgeous moments that really felt like them.

The speeches by candlelight were beautiful — funny and full of more of those lovely little exchanges.

And then it was time for the party. The Wild Ones got everyone going, ice creams arrived, and the whole evening just rolled into one big celebration.

C&J, thank you so much for having us. What a day. 🤍
