New Location update! Now taking bookings for outdoor shoots in Wakefield (Tingley). These Sessions will be sunset shoots Saturdays and early morning sessions on Sundays when the light is glowing and magical. For September and early October only x (12th/13th sept already booked up).

This wasn’t planned.

My client arrived with her own yellow dress, and I needed to come up with a lighting concept on the spot. I started neutral—white, light and perhaps the usual safe option.

Then halfway through the shoot - when my brain likes to do these things - I suddenly said, “Hang on!”

I had an itch that needed scratching, and there was no stopping me. She must have thought I was mad, scratching my head, fumbling in lighting cupboard I grabbed a light, hit the background with a yellow gel and BAM 💛

One of our favourite props a family has ever brought to a Cake Smash session! This beautiful teepee transformed our simple white set into something truly magical and suited the theme perfectly. Last Christmas, we created something rather special in Leeds and this year, we’re bringing it back.

Our Christmas Story Sessions are designed to feel like a genuine festive experience, not simply a quick photograph in front of a backdrop. We’ve hired a beautiful venue with plenty of space and atmosphere, and we’ll be welcoming just 20 families.

We’re also interested in connecting with local businesses that work with parents and families. If you’d like to offer your clients or employees a meaningful Christmas photography benefit, gift or exclusive experience, I’d love to explore a partnership.

Now the sun is setting at a much more family-friendly time, we can finally return to our beautiful evening sessions.

These photographs were taken along a quiet bridleway near Packhorse Bridge on Calverley Lane, Horsforth, just as the landscape was glowing in the evening light.
