Fun fact - Did you know that “monochrome” doesn’t just mean black and white?

Monochrome simply refers to an image made using one single colour palette. The tones and shades can vary, but they all come from the same base colour.

So whilst black and white photography is monochrome, monochrome images can also be created using other colours too. Black and white images may also be described as greyscale, monochrome, or simply black and white.

Thinking of all you pregnant mamas heading into this heatwave over the next few days 🥵 I never experienced being heavily pregnant through proper summer heat as both my babies were winter babies… but I definitely remember that stage where even just carrying your bump around felt exhausting. Everything becomes a mission!

Even in winter I struggled so much with feeling too hot at night. One thing that genuinely saved me was a little mini fan I clipped onto my bedside table. It was honestly the best purchase ever. Then once the babies arrived, it got passed straight down to them too.

Actually… this post has reminded me I need to go and find it again!

This picture is DEFO going on my wall. I'm thinking entrance way. and you know what, it's completely fine that it's a photo of just one of my boys. I hear so much that people put off framing wall art of their individual kids. They don't want to upset the other one. I am here to tell you- you absolutely can. My other son will feature in my kitchen. After all he's such a foodie, so it makes sense!

Every now and then I like to take my own little two out for a wonder. This is from a little while ago. Therefore looking through this footage had me very emotional. My 6 year old has grown out of this cute little stage, loosing his teeth, hair growing faster than I can maintain and attitude to boot. I won't let it defeat me though! I shall always keep trying to get him in dungaree, playing amongst the flowers right until he leaves home.
